Could i ask some one to post or PM me details of what usually happens at your 25 week app, Yes i know i have been hear before but lots of things are different. For one my bump was never measured, most i got was MW taping my tum with DS saying your definitely having a bigger one this time.(i remember cos her hand was cold and it was a shock). Will they feel my tum this time etc. and are their any tests etc i should be aware of?

I did ask on the phone when i booked but her response was just the standard checks, i had to ask about taking a sample in. Before they got me to do the sample when their.

PS i am bored waiting on a delivery so i think my brain is bored lol

3 - I had mine not too long ago. I got my pee tested & my BP taken. Then MW listened to heartbeat. I was not measured at all. We then chatted about antenatal classes & a few questions and not much else. Then she verified my anti-D injection appt had been set up, we set a date to get bloods drawn prior to that and then set the 28wk appt. That was it! :)

Was also wondering if any of you ladies have any rccomendations for double buggies. I don't want a side by side one as the aisles in my local shops are so narrow i can barely get my single buggy down them at the moment. I also don't like the phil and teds - makes me feel sorry for the child underneath. I would really like on that could be travel system compatible at the back and have a play tray at the front seat for my son. If anyone can post links then i would be very grateful.
    Hi,

A friend and I went to look at double buggies in John Lewis. The only non side by side ones on display were p and T or icandy, but prepare yourself for hefty prices with the icandy! It does seem very good though, and maybe having tried it out in a store you could go for second hand?

Midwife just phoned with Induction date. They are really busy so taking me (if I'm still here!) at term+14 instead of term+12. So thats next Thursday 8th Oct. She said they'd try and do earlier if there was a cancellation but I'm sure they say that to everyone lol

Lou- wee scumbag! Hope you assured her shes better off without the likes of him!

32b i am having my Anti D jab tomorrow at 30 weeks. But i think some places give you two - one at 28 and one at 32? I'm only having one. Not sure why

I only had one at 30 weeks (actually had it at 29wks as couldn't make 30wk apt and she said it made no odds).

Morning all, would say good morning but it's not:mad:

Can i offer a bit of advice very early for FTM's teach your kids how to cross the road.
Nearly knocked down a girl dropping kids of at school and her reply"but you seen me" yes i did once i had started to turn the corner with a car coming towards me and i had to block the road so it was just as well the other car seen me and her to know i had to stop. Trying to calm down and decide if i should complain to the school or not as this happens all the time on that road, not to me usually but i have seen it loads.

Got results of S/B test this morning, all good low risk:T nothing on my iron levels or other bloods though.

Vibes to the ladies in need.

I think they only tell you iron results if there is a problem with them. My first ones were low and I got a phonecall about it- my later ones were fine and were only mentioned when I asked at next apt.

I didn't have an apt at 25 weeks, but up until 32 weeks all apts were just wee checked, BP checked, general chat of any questions I have and then listen to babies HB. No measuring of bump, no feeling baby or anything like that. You should get your HiPG form and your MatB1 and I'd make an apt for 28 week bloods while you're there too.

Still no news of Harley? I know she was hoping to stay in for a few days after the birth so hopefully she is getting lots of Mummy cuddles in hospital!

Question, do I take a urine sample to 20 week scan? I had to for 12 week one.
