well i am a right grumpy pants this morning and i was annoyed with myself that i was as the reason is stupid but i have decided i am pg so therefore i am entitled to be mardy once in a while so there lol.

I'm just feeling a bit isolated from my friends. I just feel they keep leaving me out. I feel childish though. They are in their words past the baby stage now and with the kids at school they can get there life back. They all had their children close together and their youngest ones are now at school with my ds. I arrange lunch dates and invite them around for coffee but they cancel or i never get asked to theres. It is starting to rub off on the kids though as they arrange play dates with their children and never ask my ds and i don't want him to suffer.

Only this morning ds said i don't want them 2 to be friends because they won't let him be their friends. He tells me that they won't let him sit with them at lunch and he has to go sit on another table. Bless him

I think they only tell you iron results if there is a problem with them. My first ones were low and I got a phonecall about it- my later ones were fine and were only mentioned when I asked at next apt.
Don't want to leave it to long as in both previous pregnancies iron was low and each MW and doctor always assumed the other was dealing with it. I was 7 1/2mths with DS before i found out because MW asked if i still had enough tablets left.

Although given that i have changed doctors i hope things are a bit better when it comes to patient care.

Mrs_I - best of luck for your appointment today. Have you looked at these two PCs they might be ok for you http://www.mothercare.com/Mothercare-Phoenix-Tandem-Pushchair-Lightning/dp/B002GUYYXQ/ref=sr_11_1/275-0047497-3741763?%5Fencoding=UTF8&mcb=core and http://www.mothercare.com/Jan-eacute-Powertwin-Pro-3-wheeler/dp/B001CR83QS/sr=1-1/qid=1254387864/ref=sr_1_1/275-0047497-3741763?%5Fencoding=UTF8&m=A2LBKNDJ2KZUGQ&n=42764041&mcb=core. Both take an infant carrier and have either a play tray or bar at the front, cost wise they are opposite ends of the scale though so will depend on how long you will be using it for. Also neither of them are paticularly small!

Squishy & csh - I really hope your LO's turn up without intervention so labour vibes to you both xx csh - hope bubs isn't too big...eek!

EA - Am so jelous of you starting ML in Dec I havent got plans to go till a month before so ealy Feb, if I last that long what with my back and headaches. Also Know what you mean about stuff going on every month between now and March, it'll be here before we know it.

Well plan for today is to move bed room around so we can see how much room we have for cot and rocking chair. May end up with bed in corner to give us max space, OH said very sweetly said he doesnt mind wriggling down the bed to get out so bubs gets more space.

Was also wondering if any of you ladies have any rccomendations for double buggies. I don't want a side by side one as the aisles in my local shops are so narrow i can barely get my single buggy down them at the moment. I also don't like the phil and teds - makes me feel sorry for the child underneath. I would really like on that could be travel system compatible at the back and have a play tray at the front seat for my son. If anyone can post links then i would be very grateful.[/QUOTE]

Just something to take into account if you want a one-infront-of-the-other (sorry broken sleep is stopping me from thinking of the correct name :o) double buggy... is the turning circle iyswim? (I think that is one of the things that the P&T might have going for it?) The icandy apple (which you use the pip conversion kit to turn into the pear) is huge (imo - and I am refering to the apple on its own...) I had an m&p aria (which I know is a side-by-side twin) but it would easily fit through a standard doorway and was very user friendly (and light too - which is a bigger consideration when you have the weight of 2 little people in there)...

My best advice is to go to an independant buggy/nursery store they will generally cover more of the brands - and are more likely to have different double buggies for you to play with x

    How old is your ds?

    congratulation btw!

Hi everyone, hope you're all well and don't mind me joining you. I'm exactly 13 weeks with bub number 3, had my first scan yesterday which moved my dates by 3 days (in the right direction lol!) so my EDD is now 8th April 2010. I didn't realise how nervous I'd been about something being wrong, very emotional when I got home yesterday and slept amazingly well last night for the first time in ages!! We'd already decided to keep it just between us until the scan so now we need to tell everyone!

Anyway although this is third time round I'm bound to have loads of questions as my girls are 9 and 7 and so much seems to have changed since I had them! Also hoping I can be useful somewhere along the line! :D

    Hugs all round. x
