But they both only answer to flip and flop, and when we lost one a while back I was walikng the streets at midnight yelling flip flop where are you, I am surprised they did not lock me away.

I was sat on my balcony in my old flat and the kitten nearly fell off the edge, and i screamed "JOOLS!" lol.

Everyone on the main road below me was staring, i was so embarrased i grabbed the cat and went in :o:rotfl:

Nanc, have you rang the hospital? Have you had a show?

I started with bad period pains yesterday but they never became regular so it could be the start of something for you, don't forget Glam went at the same stage we are at now so it's not like it's beyond the realms of possibility! Didn't you say baby was engaged? This in itself can cause pains and I think that's what mine are. Let us know how you get on if you don't suddenly "disappear" on us first!! x

Nanc, oohh exciting! Are you ready??! If you are worried,it won't hurt to get checked by midwife hun xx

Im 36weeks today! :T  Seems the day for MW appointments as I have mine in half an hour. Had alot of mild period like pains last night and this morning and Ive had a good clear out of my erm bowels this morning twice:o so wondering if bubs is wriggling down into my pelvis abit, causing the discomfort..we'll see. I will be quite shocked if the head is starting to engage if Im honest cos as it's my 3rd baby,I'm not expecting this to happen this early! Im quite looking forward to this appointment as it's a longer than normal one to disscuss my homebirth plans.
Right, got some washing to hang out then will dash off. I'll pop back on later to see of any birth announcements! xx
love my little man he is amazing :j

Hey all back again.. still getting pains but nothing major, no show, no waters.. and had to make house call to my boss oh the joys of being a PA ha ha.. I swear he will deliver this baby...

Definately not as painful as this morning.. I just wish I knew what contractions were going to be like.. esp as some dont have show, or breaking waters..

    Hi all,

Just been skim reading so apologies to anyone I have missed.

Nice bump picture Beenie! You are definitely coming along now. It will be December before you know it. Glad you have started shopping too, and the travel system looks great for the money!

Csh – still here then?! Hope your DD had a lovely birthday yesterday and we can now send more labour vibes to you.

    Labour vibes to Squishy too!

Nanc – I like Marnie best out of your list and also Brooke. Tara is nice too (but my friend does have a dog called Tara funnily enough)! Although my DH said that Holly was on a list of popular dogs names so don’t let it put you off.
Hope you are feeling ok. I didn't have any BHs so when I had a show, I knew that the pains were contractions, but they lasted over a day before becoming more regular. Just monitor it and if they start becoming sore, get yourself checked!

SJ – congrats on your marriage and glad you had a brilliant honeymoon. You both look lovely in your picture.

    Welcome to the newbies!

How are you all this afternoon? x
  • Hi EA

I was great until I came back to work and feel extremely bloated in my trousers which were already tight pre pregnancy!!! Not fair Lol.

I am going to go and get a snowsuit as a baby gift for my friend who's just had a boy - what's the bets I see something I simply must have for the bambino? excuses excuses.

I hate new baby shopping for friends, i always buy things :D haha.

Im sat here with my work pre pregnancy trousers undone, for the past few weeks i've had to wear them with the zip and buttons undone and a long top to cover it hehe.

Only 2 hours and 50 mins to go until i get to go home :D

Have a day off tomorrow, going to go to Morrisons to browse through there baby offers :)

Hiya 32B I've not forgotten your question about VBAC, still finding some useful linkies :)

Another question though that might help, you mentioned seeing the consultant, what reason have you been given for being consultant-led in this PG?
