be interesting I see what everyone's jobs/employers are on here...well, we all know who EA works for, but everyone else, LOL...I only have a vague idea of some people.

weezl - I've told myself I want to learn a language while on ML (as project to keep mind active)...very high aspirations, no? :rotfl: maybe learning to knit is more realistic & :money:

speaking of baby shopping, we saw the CUTEST bootie-things in Mothercare the other day...but they were £7 so I banned DH from buying...they were mini Shaun the Sheeps, so cute!!

    Hi ladies

Been to MW appointment today, I'm 31 weeks today and I'm 4/5 engaged. I didn't engage with my first until I was about 37-38 weeks. She said shes not overally worried at this stage but to call her straight away if I feel anything might be happening - she did mention not to get my hopes up for a HB. Just been trying to search for info on baby's engaging but not really come up with anything.

Does being engaged this early mean I'll go into labour early??? Help!
Lightbulb moment 15th Feb 2007:doh: Now Debt Free and plan on it staying that way!

    Baby on board!:D

Aless: I'm an Assitant Manager for Aldi. Full time at the mo (well on mat leave!) but hoping to go back PT although this will mean a 12k drop in salary, ouch!

Where do you work/ what do you do? (I think I have a vague idea?)

Hope so this time. My daughter wouldn't co-operate last time so that had to be a surprise!

I'm going to do some courses while on Mat leave too....don't know whether I'd cope with a language one though..have enough trouble with English these days :rotfl:

I'll explain my job, there are millions of different jobs within SKY lol.
I work for Multi Dwelling Units (MDU), if someone wants to sign up for sky and they live in a flat they come through to us. We take some of there details and put them through to a sky flat specialist engineer to set up the account and install it. As the normal sky engineers are not allowed in flats with 10+ propertys cause of health and safety issues.

Pretty boring, and we get alot of people call the wrong dept as we are hardly ever busy and pretty much never have a queue (except today :()

Oh, it's rivoting stuff!! I'm slightly-higher-than-admin-but-not-quite-officer-and-is-hard-to-explain in the national body in charge of reviewing local government electoral boundaries in England. :rotfl: Of course, my short answer to give at parties is "civil service". :p csh, I'm thinking about possibly returning PT as well, but since I haven't even left yet it's a longggg way down the line (and depends on DH's job position at the time, obviously).

EA, would be more useful for me if you worked for your competitor as that's who we're with, hehehehehe

lou - we should make an advent calendar for ML, but only if it includes chocolate!! :D

A quick google would suggest that early dialation or effacement(sp) is something to be concerned about but engaging early means very little. Apparently second and afters can pop in and out (lol) right up until birth.
