I had my menu tasting last night and wow it was lovely!
Were having
starter: Haggis neeps & tatties
main: Roast Chicken with lemon & time jus
Dessert: Sticky toffee pudding (was amazing!!!!!)
we were meant to get to chat with the chef but he was so busy, a group of 50 walked into the restaurant from hotel without warning!
The guy looking after us is going to be our master of ceremonies on the day and was lovely. He also said we can start taking all our stuff for tables and things in whenever we like as they will store it for me.
Its getting so real now! 59 days:eek:would love to win an ipad!

59 days???? Bloodyhell, it's going too fast!!
I LOVE haggis neaps and tatties ~ I've only ever tried them once and that was New Years Eve 1998 but they were scrummy, if I wasn't getting married the same day, I'd gatecrash your wedding for a platefull
59 days, oh my word, I can't believe how quick it's coming round! xTank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
Have just had a meeting with a friend about balloons! Hate to think that I was going to have flowers everywhere! Love flowers but don't want a repeat of my cousins wedding - the staff dropped them when moving them from one room to another! My friend is doing - 12 x 3 balloon clusters, an arch for over the top table, a life size bride and groom (!!!!) and a few other bits for cost price! £50 the lot! She is then donating her time as a wedding present! Really excited now!0

wow missknixon.. that sounds pretty cool! i love balloons but unfortunately, my mother has a pobia so we are hoping to have a coupel of inconspicuous foil ones at teh back and that is it.

Well my MiL 2B is not impressed but I told her if she was paying she could have as she chose but as she isn't and we are I am going to take what I can get! She has said that they will help us to pay but we said no! My SiL 2B had to get a loan a week before her wedding because the devil (she is not very pleasant to either of us! Its her step daughter) told her they would go halves on cost then told her they couldn't afford it! We have decided that she is not getting her say!
Have booked to go for a meal with both sets of parents - they have met once in 6 years (when we had been together a month) so decided that we should get them together and also lay down some ground rules! Need to keep the MIL away from the alcohol! She is a nasty drunk and I really don't want her ruining it! Have had to get some sleeping pills because I keep having different nightmares about her behaviour every night! The last one my H2B was arrested for attacking her - she attacked him after standing up and objecting to us getting married! Cant face 3 months of that!0 -
oh my, all these mil2b comments make mine sound like an angel!! lol. sorry - i know i shouldn't joke but i have previusly had issues with her but she has been quite lovely since we set a date. (aside from getting upset at having no inclusion in teh wedding but she is in west country and we are in london!)
I think the pill smay be a good idea but do be carefus as it is easy to get dependeant on them. try and have a max of two a week or something. it may mean you struggle a bit but overall should be okay. just watch the bags under the eyes if you are suffering sleep deprivation.
i think there is a part of me pretending that all is well and i don't need to chase anything but i know its gonna suddenly hit me and i will start to freak out!
i can't afford to pick up my ring til next week (although i finally deposited teh cheques in my bank so they will be clear soon... take 5-7 working days! )
i then need to find a jewellers to make h2b's ring which means the clock is ticking for me.. tick tock tick tock.. i can almost hear it.
still trying to work out when i will be visitied by the unwanted auntie. (flo) anytime from 9th onwards means i am safe in terms of teh wedding day. (she says hopefully)
i weighed and measured myself today. I have put on 5 bs but my measurements are same as before. (been doing yoga and other toning exercises.. i am hoping it is the gaining of muscle that has made my weight creep up) I am so tempted to start smoking again until after the wedding just to lose the weight quickly but i feel sick at teh thought of having a cig anywhere near me so i remind myself hw stoopid i would be to do that. i think teh stress affects us al in different ways!

Stress certainly does magic!
I'm on antibiotics because of a skin allergy/infection cause by stress!!! ARRRRRRGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHH  At least it should clear up
I have loads to sort but feel like !!!!!!, I should be out shopping and arranging stuff but I'm glued to the sofa cause I'm exhausted from working 6 days in a row then doing a charity bike ride of 13 miles then back in work for another 6 days
I got a letter off the vicar yesterday and the church bill
It's an itemised one, I cannot believe [STRIKE]I [/STRIKE] we have to pay £27 towards the restoration fund, £55 for the organ fund and then pay £80 for the organ player!!!:heart2: 'Tied the Knot' Saturday 9th October 2010 :heart2::blushing: Member of Diet Club October 2010 Brides and Grooms :blushing:Starting Weight: 14 stone 10.8lbsCurrent Weight: 13 stone 2lbsTotal loss: 21.8lbs :j0 -

Had a girly afternoon with my MOH to calm down, she finally tried her dress on and shoes and they match perfect
