I've got to...

Get daughters shoes which won't be a problem as she's seen a few pairs she likes.
Get son's suit, which we'll get in about 3 weeks.
Get the baby some trousers.
Sort flowers which we can't do until the night before as me and my daughter are making our own bouquets!

We've got to pay...

Car £150 which is less the deposit
DJ £120 on the night, which is less the deposit
Registrar £117.50 on the day
Alterations for my dress


And I've just remember I have to phone the hairdresser for my trial ASAP and see if she can change the time on the day, from 1pm to 10am! If she can't, I'll be doing my own hair!

i set up a wedding email and was grumping that noone had used it to rsvp and today we got 3 emails

got menu tasting monday which i am really looking forward too.

Have about 90% of our rsvp for the daytime so will give it a week or 2 before chasing people up.

Going to get measured again for my dress on 7th along with my BM's and my daughter gets her first measurements done for her dress!

Everything i am paying for is paid up in full, the venue actually will owe us money!
we put our rings in to get engraved sunday so get them back next weekend sometime.
I have never been so organised with anything in all my life!:rotfl:

chel and shell, i think i need something similar. better go hunting. lol

i used to post regularly on yayw but since thier poor management of the site and allowing spammers advertising CP, i cannot stay there and its quuite sad as i did love it so but my principles do not allow me to be affiliated in anyway with people who will not take a firm hand. that is not to say they are not but not one mod has said that they are reporting such spammers to the authorities so i have left. (as far as i can.. they do not appear to have an option for deleting the account. )

anyway, i have tons to look forward to and my daddy has given me the money to pay for teh venue whic i might use to eat up the smaller payments i have remaining so that the final bill for venue can go on h2b's credit card.. we will add any surplus money from small payments on to the card and pay that one card off rather than trying to spend a few pennies here and there and getting lost in amongst it.

Went to a little wedding today, couple did it all for £250! Interesting for me to find out that you can't photo the couple signing the real register, they give a mock up book to sign! Best bit was a guest arguing with the registrar right in the middle of the service cos she was told to stop taking flash photos!!

Depressingly a little girl asked me if I was the brides mother, the bride is 21 and I am 39, I felt very old

Yep, as soon as the proper registar has been signed, they give a false book/page/pen then everyone can snap away!

I only found out last year when we gave notice.

Bless the little girl lol, you are not old and don't even look old! She must have just thought you looked very important lol x


Well, I've lost 5lb in a week since we came back from holiday so I'm having a treat ~ a [STRIKE]bottle[/STRIKE] glass of rose!
