Here's to a better year for all of us!! Good luck to all embarking on challenges.

Last night was good but when I got to my friend she confided that her flatmate had declared his love for her, he was out with us two last night so I felt like a third wheel!!! She is not sure what to do so was grateful that I was there or it might have been too romantic for her! It was all candlelit and there was a pianist and opera singer...

I got next to no sleep at hers (couldn't get to sleep then neighbour started playing very loud music at 7am) so came home at 8am and have been in bed nearly all day, going back to sleep now for a bit and will get up in time for Doctor Who!! David Tennant - :happyhear

Budgie - love love love the A-Z!!!!:T

I might be AF today but will let you know tomorrow.

  • Happy New Year!

Woke up without a hangover and it was bliss! What a cracking start to the year!

Will read back on the last week's posts and catch up on everything over the weekend.

Love to all. Thanks for your friendship and support in 2009.

    Hi all

I survived Ikea - i do love it there but felt it was a bit much on New Years Day when all I wanted to do was go for a walk. His well-reasoned argument was that going round Ikea was a walk! :D

Anyway, have come back with a sheepskin rug & lots of candles - shall not use the 2 in close proximity! ;)

Marru, thanks loads for scoring this month :T Your spreadsheet was ace :A

Now that is the way to start the New Year Miss P :A very well done, you can achieve what you set out to do. You are very strong and a really lovely person. Your comment on drinking 2 bottles of wine and not be hungovered really struck a cord with me. It is time to change now for both of us, we will have a much better year I am sure. Here is to keeping the faith and being a better me :A Hugs to you and our adorable piglet. Happy New Year sweetheart and lots of love n hugs, ((())) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Jo sorry to hear what a nightmare you have had, so glad that your DD finally got home and was safely tucked up in bed. I do hope her friend will be ok and I hope that she realises just how dangerous it is to be out and drinking to such excess. It is such a vunerable position to be in. Strangely whenever I am out I drink very little  it is only at home that I will drink more. I do hope your Oh will get his phone back, especially as you have your pictures and videos on it. Happy New Year and heres to achieving 365 Hugs (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Ra nice to see you posting matey :A its very cold so watch out for the frozen fountains ;) (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Eselt hope you are ok Angel, when I first joined here a year ago tomorrow you were missing for awhile, I know it was a difficult time for you then. So I do hope you are ok and I am thinking of you. Lots of love and please take care :A (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Talking of back then, the reason that I first posted was after reading a post by Polaroid, I do hope she is ok and if you ever lurk hunny? Hugs and I hope life is being kind to you? (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

It seems funny to think back to a year ago, I felt such a pillock posting for the first time. But I am so glad I did. You have all made me feel very welcome and through this thread I have met some very special and wonderful people. I consider it a privilege to be a part to this AF thread. Thankyou again to our Dear Lurky for starting it all off :T Happy New Year mate and lots of Budgie love (()) xxxxxxxxxxx

Marru hugs hunny and thankyou for the scoring in December, you are a star :A (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Graeme Thankyou also for your thought provoking posts, you always give such good advice and I hope this year that I can change and achieve what I ultimately desire? Take care matey (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

So another af day for me and one more to the 365, I feel better for deciding not to drink. I am fine when I have my resolve it is only when I become lazy in my approach that the trouble starts. So to all our 365ers lets reach our goal and IM at the end of the year you will have alot of lovely Pandora charms (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

So hugs everyone, MollyPolly hope your New Years Eve was a good one and that your Mum loved the suprise? If I get to 365 then we will have to meet up Hanley Duck for a Coffee ;) (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Oh and HoneyBear it sounds like your argument is all settled now? Hope you trip to Ikea was good? Your Bf sound a liitle gem. most men would rather stick pins in their eyes :rotfl:

Glasgow Girl nice to see you back sweetheart, lots of hugs (()) xxxxxxxxxxx

Hugs to you all and a Happy New Year, hope our lovely Fay and Ym are ok too? (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

    Hows things Jo?

Thanks Honey Bear for the score sheet :T and I am fine thanks, glad things are sorted now in Bear Towers. (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I am watching Rainman and drinking tea :D

Was in floods of tears earlier watching: Australia with Nicole Kidman, I have never been a fan one way or the other but she plays a really good part in it, and the little boy in the film is so adorable with the biggest eyes. Bless.

Ready for me Hot Chocolate and soaps later :D

I suspect I will be in tears over Dr Who & the end of David Tennant later :o

Then I shall be having a hot bath & revelling in my beautifully fixed hot water. I am so proud of myself for sorting that out - if you have a problem, if no-one else can help, & if you can tempt her inside with an offer of chocolate, then maybe you can hire the honeybear ;)
