What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

Feeling great this morning, loads to do but it feels achievable today :j

40SM, remember baby steps - I've decidied to go a day at a time this month and see how I get on, last month once i knew I couldn't make my target I gave up and thought whats the point, which was ridiculous. So Im going with good old GC's advise just thinking about today...which will be Af made sure Im the designated driver tonight :A

kittiej, welcome and good luck, this is a great place to be if you need help and support on your journey to be AF or cut down.

:hello: to everyone else, hope you are enjoying this beautiful, frosty morning,

    Take care

    and to you.

thank yourself first...and always remember how important you are in this.

To anyone with thoughts about going to AA, I'd say give it a chance because, if you're anything like me (!) you'll pick up a whole load of quotes that just help it all make sense in your head. There are some old veterans there who have a lifetime of good advice,,,,

I'd said something about what I'd done etc and quietly, after the meeting he just said "remember to forgive yourself".

another thought for the day is that I met some VERY clever people there...some who you'd never believe could possibily have an issue....it helped me realise I wasn't dumb and stupid....just vulnerable.

    And I certainy wasn't alone.

    take care everyone!

    Bis

Thanks for that, Bis - a bit deep for a Saturday morning perhaps (I've only just got up :o) but I think they're both really important thoughts for us all to remember :A
