Someone said in an earlier post today that the longer you don't drink for, the more the obsession with it reduces. I'm certainly finding this to be true and I can honestly say that now I don't need to think "I won't drink today" every day. It just isn't part of my life any longer - a couple of days can go by when I don't think about it at all.
So not giving it a thought definitely can happen (and if it can happen to me, it can happen to anyone!)
Wonderful, thanks. Looking forward to that day. xx0 -

I totally agree with this. The only time I seem to think about it now is when I read this thread everyday.....But that is a good thing as it makes me realise how far I have come.
I know I am now totally alcohol free and will stay that way.
Hope you are all enjoying your evenings.

I am not ok unfortunately.
Wish I was but OH has ?*****ed me off completely and will not change his mind at all and the only thing I did was bottle up my feelings and now I have learnt not to do this he will not listen, let alone change his mind.
Nothing else to say apart from 3 glasses of wine in and believe me I don't feel any better for it.

Big hugs to you - it must be so hard saying bye to your DS. Not long til Christmas now - hopefully you'll be getting lots of lovely time together soon. In the meantime, you can have fun searching for stocking fillers and little treats to spoil him. Bet he adores his mum!
xx
Thanks GG :A and yes I am Christmas shopping, Grinchy
as Martin says Christmas just doesn't arrive we all know its coming. So I have lots of bits and bobs. Oh and Stacey is so adorable and I like Jamie too. Oh its sooo stressful.
On the note of Christmas can I get some advice from you all? There are two small children who live close by to me, I did do them an Easter hamper and I have some Halloween bits. But for Christmas I have been collecting various bits and for the little girl I have accumulated alot of fairy bits. (Quite alot actually). I don't really see them so much just wave if they are on their way to school. Someone has said that it may not be appropriate to give them so much? I know you have to be careful these days as there are alot of people to be wary of? I have only done it to be nice but now I am thinking they may find it a bit odd?
I would be pleased to hear from you all as to what you think
Its so hard sometimes trying to do the right thing?
Oh and can I just tell you about my new toy, as you know I have previously had a nightmare with N Power, wrong meter registered to my home, wrong on the data base and Mr BB on 2 accounts at one point. Anyway my Ds has sent me an energy meter its so cool, its wireless and you attach it to the cable inside your meter box and the you have a monitor inside. It tells you everything you are using. Its so addictive, but very mse :rotfl:
Thanks guys and TTGU hugs and can I join too please sweetheart? (()) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Oh yes and the twins
Edit oh Fedup hugs hunny and I am sorry you are having such a rough time (()) I hope things will get brighter for you soon. Please do take care Angel and lots of love xxxxxxxxxxxCherish the ones you love and travel back on the road that brings you home
