Fay hope the Living Sober book is useful to you.I used my copy every day for about a year when I stopped drinking.

I have a very used one, if anyone wants it PM me and I will gladly send it.

Nice to know people are doing well and keep on trying those that arent!:A

Can promise that after stopping drinking the obsession with Alcohol will go.It does take time but is worth it.

Well I have been rubbish at keeping up with the thread... I am very sporadic when it comes to messageboards!

Anyway, in good news

I went to a party last night and drank cordial and lemonade all night, which was good

In bad news,
On the days I have drunk, once I had another pint despite knowing I'd had too much (it was being bought for me, so I felt I couldn't say no, but I know that's not really an excuse)

One of the other days I got horribly horribly drunk...the end of the night is a blank bar a couple of flashes. Lost pretty much the whole of the next day to a hang over, so it was a massive failure all round...

Thanks T2GU, I'm up for this and thanks for suggesting it. I think doing it together as a one-off gives an extra bit of motivation.

Even though I don`t think about the wine much anymore....I have a bit of a cold & feel dreadful....usually I would supplement the paracetamols with a couple of medicinal whiskies....I am managing without but its proving difficult.
