Don't pick on anyone Fenris.
Lots of "new" members now seem to find the Quidco threads. :rotfl:

Yes, there are a lot of "new" members on the Quidco threads aren't there? And, oddly, they're either sticking up for the company or having a pop at those of us who're trying to find out why we're not being paid cashback.0

Lots of "new" members??
Or lots of Alter Ego's??
It gives a laugh though, does to me anyway. (lol)

Nope, although I'm still waiting for my Co-op insurance payment
It's now more than 6 months since I made the purchase. And yet they still say that the average is 3 months.0 -
My main outstanding quidco payments are:
1. getmein: £8.83 validated 8/1/09, still waiting to be paid.
2. Co-op Motor Insurance: £75 tracked on 6/7/09, still waiting to be validated!
3. Sainsburys Pet Insurance: £35 tracked 24/1/09, validated 25/6/09, still not paid!
4. Sainsburys Home Insurance: £30 tracked on 11/3/09, still waiting to be validated!
I've raised tickets on these but get the usual generic responses in that they are working to resolve the issues as quickly as they can, but don't give any timescales as to when I could expect to receive payments!0 -

Waiting over a year for the COOP something very fishy going on at Quidco
Like the dragons say : IM OUT0 -
Copied from here: http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?p=25833581&posted=1#post25833581 - the thread that dare not speak its name. If Quidco would like to respond here, I'd be interested in an answer. They didn't answer this part of my earlier question on the other thread, and the mods seem strangely keen to delete any references to overdue accounts.
Browntoa - there's a perfectly good reason for asking in this thread why Companies House shows the following information about Maple Syrup Media, the company behind Quidco, and I quote:
Accounting Reference Date: 31/07
Last Accounts Made Up To: 31/07/2007 (TOTAL EXEMPTION SMALL)
Next Accounts Due: 31/05/2009 OVERDUE
Last Return Made Up To: 04/07/2008
Next Return Due: 01/08/2009 OVERDUE
It's simply that Quidco Company Representative only responds here - they do not respond at all in the vents thread you mention. It's a fair question, because anyone using Quidco is relying on them to pay over the money due, and overdue accounts rings alarm bells for many of us.
I find it difficult to see what the problem is. There are non-topic posts all over moneysavingexpert forums, all of which are left alone, and rightly so because it does no harm at all. On Quidco, though, the rules seem to be different, and I've never seen such a concerted effort to delete perfectly sensible posts. I'm reminded, sadly, of Stalinism and McCarthyism - not what I'd expect on these forums. Does MSE derive any income from Quidco? Sorry - have to ask the question.
Please do not delete this post - it's the only way of getting a response from Quidco we have, and if Martin Lewis stands for anything, surely it's for consumer rights?0 -
Hi guys
It can sometimes take merchants a couple of months to pay cashback companies after the cashback has been validated on your account.
Some companies pay you out before that from their own pockets, taking the risk that they may never get the money. Some don't. This appears to be where the confusion lies.
If you have cashback that validated more than three months ago please send your account details to juliewells@quidco.com so she can try to look into it further for you.
Thanks!

@Doc N - I did answer your question in my response to you on the other thread when I told you that Quidco does NOT hold on to members' money, which seems to be your concern around our company accounts. Therefore the accounts are of no relevance in the issue of delayed payments. As far as I am concerned this does answer the question. We are NOT in possession of any cashback which has not been passed on to our members apart from for transactions which have updated to received since our payment run at the end of last month. These will be passed on at the end of October.
The reason I have not responded on this thread to other comments is because they have been either addressed with the members in question individually and most of them do not require or request a response, or because they are about individual cases which are new to me. With these cases we are happy to look at transactions if we are supplied with members' user ids so that we can deal with them through our ticketing system.
I will not be addressing individual concerns publicly on here as stated previously, in view of the history of the reaction from some members to my honest and open responses.
I will close by saying again that Quidco do NOT hold on to money belonging to our members although I do accept that some members may genuinely believe we do, due to being unsure of how the cashback process works.
Again, I will not be posting on this thread. It is the vent thread and it is a place where people are perfectly entitled to vent their frustration and anger. If they want me to address individual issues I would be delighted to speak to them via our normal channels, or to ring them if need be, which is something that I am also happy to do for any member who feels they are getting nowhere through the normal channels.
Thanks
