Right, back from my weekend break. Unsurprisingly, no change on the Quidco front.

Has anyone else looked at the flat in Dartford? Looks like a nice place doesn't it? I'm interested to know if it's just a front and if all mail sent there is simply redirected to Sheffield. I'll look into that I think and post back when I know for sure. Will get the Court papers sorted this week too.

Yes - doesn't fill you with confidence, does it? I imagine, like you, that mail is redirected to Sheffield.
  • I've used Quidco a few times and thought they were okay. Howver, they've just told me my cashback from Kwikfit has been declines and that they won;t do anything. I followed all the links and am positive I didn;t do anything wrong but can get nowhere. I'm moving from Kwikfit Insurance and of course won;t use Quidco again....TopCash back seem to be much better and they have all the same deals as far as I can see.

    BOYCOTT QUIDCO!!!!!!!!!!!

    Good morning,

This is an invitation to Ruthha.

It is clear that you do have real concerns about Quidco as a company, and that you are unclear about how the whole cashback process works, despite the fact that all of your validated transactions have been paid, and within the normal validation periods as noted in merchant’s warning boxes at the time you chose to make purchases via our site. For these you have received a large amount of cashback via our company over the last couple of years.

The latest transaction you are disputing is also still within the advertised period, as explained previously.

We understand from your comments that you have taken on the role of looking into issues other members have and that you have information from them which you want us to see.

I have escalated this issue and the content of your posts on MSE and the management of Quidco are fully aware of the situation and we would like to meet with you discuss everything you are concerned about. We will come to you to save you from travelling and we will address all of your concerns about Quidco and the way the system works, as well as taking on all the complaints from the other members who have been writing to you. We will then work with them individually to resolve the situation for them.

We are making this offer not only because some of the posts about Quidco as a business concern us, but also because you are telling us that there are genuine members out there who feel they would rather write to you than to us, and I am assuming that is your concern too, and the basis for your actions.

We also see that you feel we “pass the buck” and although it may seem sometimes seem so in a business where much of the work is done by intermediaries (Quidco being one of them) who are all interdependent on each other, this is not the case. We take our role in the process very seriously. Again, a full overview of the cashback industry and its processes would be of benefit to you and we are happy to help you with this.

Please raise a ticket and ask for it to be passed to me so that we can arrange this. Maybe when you have met with us and had a frank and informative discussion, you will then be armed with all the facts and, hopefully, have confidence that we are doing what we say we are doing for our customers.

    Regards
    Jules

I am the official company representative of quidco. MSE has given permission for me to post in response to queries about the company, so that I can help solve issues. You can see my name on the companies with permission to post list. I am not allowed to tout for business at all. If you believe I am please report it to forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com This does NOT imply any form of approval of my company or its products by MSE

Basically they are saying are you big enough to tell it to their face? By the content of your posts I think Quidco are wasting their breath as Rutha seems more interested in hiding behind the internet with half truths and taking the cases of people who don't read the T&C of cashback sites correctly or fail to appericate how they work.

I have used quidco for a number of years and never had any problems with Quidco.

Any time I have had a query I have found their response to be fair and they always try to deal with the problem.

Previously Quidco had issues were the merchants did not pay them so they could pay the users the cashback they were claiming. The result was Quidco paid out the cash back out of their own finances rather than disappointing the users.

Haven't read all this thread, as frankly I can't be bothered. But the fact that Quidco take the time to reply courteously to a***holes such as Rutha just reflects how good they are and how they want to see to any complaints rather than ignoring and hiding like many online companies I can mention. I bet most people have had an issue or two with payment/tracking but on the odd occassion where mine hasn't tracked, quidco sorted it out within the time frame they specified.

Can we have a forum to vent at Rutha then?

Are you owed any thing from Quidco .????? As you say half truths if i had put any half truths as you say on this forum QUIDCO would have sued the pants off me. T& C where does it say customers have to wait over 2 years in some cases to get the cash backs. Just because someone qutoes t&C does not mean they are correct and just..

This is a forum to vent at QUIDCO not Ruthha so be a nice person and keep to the topics

    Thank You

I use QUIDCO and never had problems. But then I wouldn't just do deals just for the cashback exposing myself to spending money to get cashback that never arrives. The cashback I get is just a bonus on something I am buying anyway.

Your posts, the content and the way they are delivered is opening yourself to critcism and this is a public forum where people can say what they want so I would not get all high and mighty when people disagree with you. So the question is are you going to meet with Quidco face to face and discuss your concerns? Or are you just going to hide behind a forum criticising them?
  • here's some examples before i left Quidco of why my feathers are ruffled.
moreth>n - validated then gets declined
virgin media - recieved - account gtets suspended ammount gets declined and virgin have never had the money back.
I challenged Quidco on a few issues once again my account got suspended that is a cowards way of dealing with things.
A bit of credit to Quidco now i asked for my account to be closed which they did and they paid me all due cashback including a ammount which was only on tracked.
But ask yourselves this question you pay Quidco £5 per year a example Quidco offer £75 for a policy taken out with say for instance natwest unsurance.
You pay topcashback nothing every year and they also offer natwest at £75 and don't constantly fob you off who would you really be better off with?
Quidco do not even have a validated address do the maths yourselves and you'll still come up with 4 .

I am not the greatest fan of Quidco but I have been paid ALL of the money that I have claimed through their cashback links over the past 4 years. Some of this money did take a while to come through and was paid under their amnesty.

Jules has made a significant offer to Ruthha. It is now time to 'put up or shut up'.

I see Browtoa been at it again deleting my Thread informing all member of Quidco that they are late by over 3 months filling the accounts at Company House. pointing out they will have to pay a fine of at least £ £ 750 which will be doubled to at least £ 1500.00. because the account last year was also filled late.

This is of interest to all Quidco members

Late filing of accounts leads to an automatic civil penalty. Failing to file accounts or the annual return on time, or not at all, is also a criminal offence.

Criminal Offence Needs To Be Highlighted to all Quidco members. ITS THE LAW.

If this Thread is remove Browntoa you are trying to cover up for Quidco and not let MSE members know the real truth

If you are going to make claims similar to the above. Please state the legislation which covers your claim.
