Do you follow the advise provided by Quidco to clear your temporary internet files and cookies especially if you have been using other merchants sites or have visited the merchant prior to completing the transaction via Quidco?0

Ruthha - one question - why are you so obsessed about their company accounts?0
-
Just to help clarify matters from a legal/accounting perspective :-
1. The Dartford address is the address of Quidco's accountants - Mack Business Services Ltd. it is entirely common for a company to have their registered address as that of their accountants. This is why there are so many companies registered at this address. This is all within the law.
2. It is entirely common for a company to have a registered office address that is different from their trading address. Qudico's trading address is Sheffield and is clearly detailed on their website as per the Companies Act requirement (to show both addresses).
3. Not sure why there is the feeling Quidco have filed their accounts late. There are many reasons why - they may be changing their accounting year (in effect an 18 month year). They last filed accounts 04 July 2008 and depending upon certain factors have upto 10 months following the end of their accounting year to submit accounts.
4. This website/forum is not owned or managed by Martin Lewis in any direct way. It has nothing to do with him other than it has his name on it and he started it. This is to ensure he cannot be held accountable for any liabelous or contentious content :money:so writing directly to Martin may not produce the result required.
5. This website is clearly classified as unmoderated and contentious posts are removed as and when appropriate. As a public forum, the right to membership of and to post on this forum is entirely at the discretion of the site owner (who isn't Martin) - there's no such thing as freedom of speech on the internet and for those who frequent the Discussion Time threads here, will be well aware that there are many taboo subjects (muslims, terrorism, maddy Mccann, etc) - no logic as to why, just is.
Back on topic, Quidco appear to let themsleves down regularly of recent and appear to be losing the faith of their members, especially with regard missing transactions and the perceived paying of cashback late - but as this website is all about consumer revenge, if that takes the form of going elsewhere for your cashback, then so be it.Anger ruins joy, it steals the goodness of my mind. Forces me to say terrible things. Overcoming anger brings peace of mind, a mind without regret. If I overcome anger, I will be delightful and loved by everyone.0 -

I have done this each time and none of these visits have been tracked.
Where I have shopped directly with a merchant they have tracked no problems.0 -

As in a few posts above, there are lots of reasons why a transaction may fail to track. Browser settings, lack of space in temporary files, anti virus, cookie stuffing, incompatibilities with browser versions, MS updates...
It seems that the people with complaints are those that fail to understand how the whole process works, and how the above could cause issues.0 -
There are over 135 businesses registered at the Dartford address. The address is the old registered office of Mack Business Accounting Ltd and to have so many traders registered at the same address would suggest it is an accounting practice.
Google maps street view does seem to show a corner terrace property. Opposite is a commercial premises (the RSPCA) and 36 Gordon Road does seem to have some parking alongside it - it would suggest it may have been a commercial premises previously, although not currently.
Mack Business Services Ltd have moved address to Hillcroft, Dartford Road, Horton Kirby, DARTFORD, DA4 9HX. I wonder if they've moved address but forgotten to notify companies house that all the registered entities need to move with them. Companies House certainly show the new address for Mack Business Services Ltd though.
Google view of that address shows another house (alas there is no street level for this property as it is out in the countryside). It is entirely possible for an accounting/book keeper practice to operate from a home address (indeed, many GP and Dentists operate from residential addressess if you know what I mean). Looking at the last set of filed accounts for Mack, turnover is very small so would suggest a one man band/sole practitioner type operation.
Odd that Quidco, a big company, would use such a small outfit, but not beyond the realms of belief and I've seen large corpoprates use smaller firms for their accounting affairs to keep costs down.
One matter of contention is that Quidco are showing on their website the 36a Dartford address, however, this is quite clearly not their registered address anymore and so they should update companies house and their website to reflect this change as it is a requirement of the Companies Act to show on your website your proper addresses......unless 36a Gordon Street is somehow still associated with the accounting practice (ie, the flat is still owned by the book-keeper and still used as the registered office address of all those companies).
The registered office address, for those not aware, is important as it is the address that HMRC will attend to if they want to perform an inspection. If that address is empty/out of date, then HMRC will not be happy chappies.Anger ruins joy, it steals the goodness of my mind. Forces me to say terrible things. So you're not providing a list of your achievments then?
Never has and she never will...hides behind the smoke and mirrors...as for her "legal Team", they appear to have given her the most inept advice my colleagues and I have ever seen, some in fact could be construed as libelous, although not against me, otherwise I would take action.
She has even appeared on the competitions thread trying to berate a company over their competitions.
Ruthha is the one who offered to fight for the "little man", when asked she hides behind legislation her or her "legal team" don't seem to comprehend, she quotes the Data Protection Act, which she obviously doesn't understand either.
She has yet to provide one shred of factual evidence about who she has helped, but unfortunately she continues to spout...and you're right....she never gives answers, continually cuts and pastes and I firmly believe now having read a lot of her posts she hides behind the "I'm French, I don't understand the English language very well".
I'm still waiting to hear what she did for my countrymen when she was in the UN.I'm now a retired teacher... hooray ...:j
Those who can do, those who can't, come to me for lessons:cool:0
