I'm sorry, I'm having trouble understanding what you're (not your) trying to write. "im" is not a word. Did you mean IM as in Instant Message? If so that sentance reads, "No Instant Message not, i just got generally bored with your epic post (epic, by the way, does not apply here.).. and no Instant Message not." In what way is that sentance fine?

You have nothing constructive to add to this thread, so why are you here? This part of MSE is specifically for people to moan; hence the forum title including the words "Vent" and "Warning". You winged on the other Quidco thread and you're winging in this one. Not making any difference is it? I think your time would be better spent improving your writing skills instead of sticking your oar in every thread you have no vested interest in.

I'm sorry i don't have 'Wings' so i can't have 'winged' anything now can I?

I can stick my oar into any thread i want as this is a public forum open to all is it not?

so someone is trying to help you with your bother with Quidco yet you turned it down? Why would you do that when you have moaned about not getting any response from them? Cutting your nose off to spite your face i think there..

@Doc N - I did answer your question in my response to you on the other thread when I told you that Quidco does NOT hold on to members' money, which seems to be your concern around our company accounts. Therefore the accounts are of no relevance in the issue of delayed payments. As far as I am concerned this does answer the question. We are NOT in possession of any cashback which has not been passed on to our members apart from for transactions which have updated to received since our payment run at the end of last month. These will be passed on at the end of October.

The reason I have not responded on this thread to other comments is because they have been either addressed with the members in question individually and most of them do not require or request a response, or because they are about individual cases which are new to me. With these cases we are happy to look at transactions if we are supplied with members' user ids so that we can deal with them through our ticketing system.

I will not be addressing individual concerns publicly on here as stated previously, in view of the history of the reaction from some members to my honest and open responses.

I will close by saying again that Quidco do NOT hold on to money belonging to our members although I do accept that some members may genuinely believe we do, due to being unsure of how the cashback process works.

Again, I will not be posting on this thread. It is the vent thread and it is a place where people are perfectly entitled to vent their frustration and anger. If they want me to address individual issues I would be delighted to speak to them via our normal channels, or to ring them if need be, which is something that I am also happy to do for any member who feels they are getting nowhere through the normal channels.

    Thanks
    Jules

Jules - thanks for this, but you haven't actually answered the question at all. I asked why it is that Companies House shows the following information about Maple Syrup Media, the company behind Quidco:

    Accounting Reference Date: 31/07
Last Accounts Made Up To: 31/07/2007 (TOTAL EXEMPTION SMALL)
    Next Accounts Due: 31/05/2009 OVERDUE
Last Return Made Up To: 04/07/2008
    Next Return Due: 01/08/2009 OVERDUE

Surely it's reasonable to ask why the company isn't (apparently) complying with the requirements of Companies House? You cannot say that Quidco do not hold on to members' monies - there is bound to be a period of time (however small you might claim it to be) between Quidco having received payment and Quidco paying it out at the end of the month. The average will presumably be around 15 days.

To that extent our money is at risk, and I still have concerns about any company, not just Quidco, if it doesn't file its accounts and returns on time. What's the problem please?

    Hi,

@Doc N - I have posted part of my response which I think you may have missed below:

"We are NOT in possession of any cashback which has not been passed on to our members apart from for transactions which have updated to received since our payment run at the end of last month. These will be passed on at the end of October."

I will clearly state on here that I have no comment to make on Quidco's company accounts. My role is to answer queries on member transactions and nothing more.

If you have an issue with this please write to our registered address in Dartford and someone with the authority to do so will respond. Correspondence other than that about members' transactions and accounts will be passed on from there to the relevant team. Correspondence about member's transactions will be passed to the Member Support team in Sheffield. Ideally, for customer service and transaction issues, write directly to the Sheffield address.

I will not respond again on here. I am not omitting anything from my response. I will never answer queries of this type as it is not my place to do so. I am a company spokesperson for customer service and I will happily advise all members prepared to supply me with their Quidco user name on their Quidco earnings.

    Thanks.
    Jules

Oh for !!!!'s sake, is that really the best you can come up with?

And by the way, that penultimate word you have used, I really do not a have clue what it is. It has a lot of similarity to the word 'sentence' but is spelt slightly different so must be something else. Were you trying to say scent? Dance?

There are a serious number of companies registered at 36a Gordon road if you google it I am still getting new companies on page 3!

However I do think you have got your dates wrong Ruthha. Seriously Quidco do things A LOT worse, I appreciate that you have made 6 payments, but it is just semantics and Quidco do do this, they will take the end of the month, very annoying, but I don't think in reality anyone is going to change that. It is a business tactic, keep the money as long as you can and if you say 6 months no one is ging to do anything if it is 6 months and 29 days!

I have had some serious battles with them and even gave up contacting them and contacted both the affiliate and the company I had signed up to, even so it took a ridiculous length of time to pay out. I mostly use cbk now.

And if you take a look at the Registered Office address (36A Gordon Road, Dartford, Kent DA1 2LQ) of Maple Syrup Media Ltd using Google Streetview, you'll be as impressed (that's not really the word I'm looking for) as I was!
