Excellent, does the cashback normally get paid if cancelled by Tesco??
Could be a whole new career here looking for glitches. :D

It always has in the past :D - that's because Tesco are almost entirely useless. How they got to be the biggest I will never know (it's probably a sad indictment of the other supermarkets' 'ability' or lack of)

Tim Deegan, thanks for the recommendation - unfortunately I know nowt at all about mattresses, other than that memory foam is very comfy (have tried it out). I don't know about combinations of foam/coil/spring or anything. So name drop all you want! :D

The mattress I tried was one of those PAL ones BTW, they are meant to be like Tempur (never tried these).

  • I always take more notice of actual user reviews rather than retailer opinions, personally. And this mattress has averaged 9.1/10 on Revoo.

  • Because this comes direct from manufacturer and is an end of line / clearance I wonder if Tesco will have spoken to the manufacturer about the mistake and agreed with them to supply, it may be a good way for the manufacturer to clear a stock of an item no longer in there range... you never know.

Its not everyday that a manufacturer with a warehouse full of mattresses has tesco come along and say "we messed up, we can only give you X per mattress but we have confirmed orders for 500+ right now if thats acceptable?".... could happen :)

I'm afraid I can't recommend anything as it could be seen as advertising. All I can say is stick with smaller independent manufacturers to get better quality for less money.

lol @ Tim - do you work for a smaller independent retailer yourself perchance?
