You work for a company who sell alternate products to Sealy. I'm not starting an argument.

I'm just saying that if you are going to make multiple posts throughout the boards on a popular website such as MSE along the lines of "small independent" manufacturers offer better value for money" etc etc.......then to retain any credibility that you may have, you should make it clear that that's where you make your money from.

Sealy have thousands upon thousands of very satisfied customers. Whilst they surely don't need your seal of approval, I'm sure they also wouldn't appreciate you making such sweeping statements on popular public forums such as MSE whilst working for a competitor.

I'm quite open about what I do, as many people will tell you.

I'm not on here to make money which is why I don't give out my details.

There are 1000s of retailers who sell beds from smaller independent manufacturers. So the chance of me making a sale by the chance that someone may stumble across my site would be so slim, that it wouldn't be worth my time and effort being on here.

Like I said, do a bit of research, and you will find that what I say is 100% truth.

It's not a question of making money - it's a question of you not being impartial. You can't get away from it. And you can't deny it.

We should just leave it there.

Are you talking about HUKD? On there you wrote:

I came here looking for those excuses but can't find them.

But then on here I find you saying the above, but not many excuses on there either, just a bouple of credit card secuity check that stopped payment?

There have been quite a few for credit card reasons. These would normally be picked up at the payment stage, not a few days later. So this rang alarm bells.

Then there have been a couple of people who have been told that they can't deliver to Northern Ireland. I know for a fact that they sell Silentnight beds in Northern Ireland, and the post code should have been rejected at the checkout stage if they didn't. So it appears that they are giving out any excuse they can.

Not being funny Tim but they said it was a credit card block and you said:

In the thread on Money Saving Expert people are receiving cancellations with different excuses.

So apart from the credit card block (X2) there is in fact only "your in Ireland" (X1) and as that was also posted in HUKD and not MSE there are actually no other excuses on MSE.

    can you give these:

What I don't get is why you are doing the forum rounds saying these things, on each forum you say its happened on "the other forum".

There were two people who said that they couldn't have delivery to Northern Ireland.

Don't you think two credit card blocks after the transaction, and two saying that they couldn't deliver to Northern Ireland after the order was placed (and this is only the ones who posted on forums to tell us) is a bit suspect........or do you work for Tescos?

No I don't, as my posts show my order has gone through and that's right from the start on HUKD.

So, to confirm from your post, apart from the crdit card blocks we have two incidents of no delivery to NI which is covered in their T&C's anyway.

    Not really:
people are saying that they are being given all sorts of excuses to cancel their orders

I ask again, can you quote these?

Also, don't think many DEA's work for Tesco....... the clue is here \/ \/

How many exactly is 'quite a few'? You stated earlier that some' people will get this mattress but 'many' people won't be getting this mattress. How many exactly is 'many'? Is it more than 'some'? Seems like deliberatively emotive language is being used in order to foster disappointment. Why, I wonder?

It looks like there could be a chance that some people will receive them, but many won't. There is another forum where some people are saying that they are being given all sorts of excuses to cancel their orders.

Anyway back to the original thread. Many thanks to the original poster, I am suffering from a bad back, recently lost my job and a new mattress wasn't a necessity, but for £143 it gave me the opportunity to own one and maybe help me with my back pain. I really appreciate all the help I receive on this thread so thankyou for spotting this bargain.:T
