Looks good Lou! Still a good bit left and I see you have been bargain hunting! Is there any budget left this month?
Have you any food planned out for today/tomo?
I take it the mince and chicken wings are available for use or are they all gone? Just trying to see what we can make from what you have
How long do we have left on the very tight budget?A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

Dinner Tonite:
Vegetable Curry made with veg, chutneys and powders.. serve wiv pitta bread out of frozen 'bread bag'
Pudding will be something wiv strawberries.. but wot...?0 -
I find I never want a 'proper' pudding after curry - are the strawberries tasty enough to eat on their own, to refresh you after the spiciness?
(Sorry, that's about the best I can come up with - I'm not keen on strawberries myself!)Back after a very long break!0 -
what about melting some plain chocolate, with a dab of vanilla to make less bitter. Dipping strawberries in and let it set for 5 mins?! If you had yoghurt i would suggest yog and crumbled up biscuts
Here is a thread about strawberries - not sure if you have any other ingredients to add
i like the idea of blending with milk and adding ice- strawb milkshake!A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

Oh Great! Is nice if you let the chocolate set crunchy . YUMMMEEEEEEE! What's for dinner tonight Ms Lou?A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men

How about using up some of that meat from the freezer Lou?
Smoked kippers (whether smoked or not, still same principls applies)(My first idea is kipper, hash browns and baked beans)
Duck breasts
cooking a whole duck (will still have ideas for duck in im sure)
Turkey Leg recipes
I wasnt sure - do you still have the meat bought at the weekend? And does your new budget start this friday?
I would suggest now you are better, you attempt planning ahead, and working out exactly how you are spending your £10, so you get the maximum benefit out of it.
Just a thought!A little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men
