  • i ended up paying a £1000 deposit which i had saved up and put the rest on two yrs interest free credit so works out around £65.oo a month for me.
the deposit doesnt have to be that much though at all i just wanted lower monthly payments.

they wouldnt drop the price for me and let me use tesco vouchers.

but its worth having an appointment because your eyes might not be as bad as mine so might not cost as much, i was there around two hrs in all for my consultation (this was in the finchley road , london optimax)
My eyes are -6.45 ish , so I think they would be more expensive.

cost is dependant on surgery provider and what type of surgery you opt for..best to get some consultations with a few clinics

I had this treatment done by Optimax several years ago,and have had no ill efffects, and a positive outcome. I wish I had undergone the treatement earlier if anything.
  • I want to know which will be the cheapest treatment. Is it lasik or laser treatment I am comparing. So that I could be able to make a decision of myself. For what should I go for. Please give me a better advice I will be really very thankful to you.

hiya im not sure what the cheapest treatment is for you, you will have to go to a consultation and see what can be done for your eyes and they will advice which are your options, i have just had the lasik treatment done on wedensday by optimax in finchley road, london and i could see almost straight away, my eyes were a little bit achey for a couple of hours afterwards but apart from that no problems and i now have 20 20 vision i cant believe how quick it all is, the only thing is i keep reaching to put glasses on when i wake up etc its sooo strange not having to use them lol,
i have refer a friend vouchers that will get you £500 off the cost of treatment and also gives me £50 if you have it done but still haggle on the price as i got extra discounts as well.
good luck to anyone who has it done.

i also took the family to a safari park on fri and it was amazing being able to see everything so well, im truly amazed by how good it has been for me
now proud mum to 3 handsome boys :j latest one born 10/10/11:j

I had a lasik treatment this year. One of my friends recommended me Turkey for lasik. It cost 1980 Euro!!! including both eye lasik, flight tickets, accomodation ( 4* Hotel), half day city(Istanbul)tour, pre and post operation controls. The hospital is very clean, people are very keen to assist. Also my doctor speaks very good English. I can recommend World Eye Centers to everybody. Because my vision is 20/20 right now.

Hi Rachelina, Glad your eyes are doing so well. Please send me the discount code. Not sure how to send (or receive a PM (private message?) If you dont mind saying can you tell me the cost of your treatment before the discount?

    Cheers
