  • Rosepink - Thank you thank you thank you, they got here safely! :T:A
Are they ok? I was really worried about them being in the post. You need to plant them and water them asap, did they get very bashed?

No, but Rav Wilding will be though! :D Going out to a friend's tonight, hope she lets me watch Strictly!

Natty, glad to hear you are doing so well and that you’re getting on so well with your treatment. I agree, don’t spend time with toxic – your friends are meant to make you feel better, not drag you down. Glad to hear your DH is noticing your efforts too. I agree, I really like Holly on this morning, but I really liked fern too! It seems more restful with Holly tho.

Hugs Fedup, if you need to talk just PM me anytime xx

Wilf your GD is so sweet!

Twiglet, please join in, you can’t be more of a slob than me! You will find it’s quite a nice friendly thread, lots of encouragement to fight the clutter and it’s not as hard as you might think

    Welcome Miss Higgerty

I have done the kitchen again as it was messy what with all the stripping.

    RANT ALERT:mad:
Been to job centre and got told off for going in early. My time slot is 09:40 so i got there at 09:15 handed in my book and went to look at the boards (in agreement arrive 15 mins early so you can peruse the juobs) She shouted my name at 09:25 and said why have you come in early i explained that i came straight from school and dh has an appointment in sheffield. She said if i come in early again she will not be at liberty to see me. I just turned round and said to her at least i have come in i thought it was better to be early and i didnt ask to be seen she could have left my book till my alloted time slot.
I was really cross as this silly woman. On the whole i have found being a jobseeker totally demoralising and when i get a job i shall be telling them just that. I am sure they should not talk to people this way. I can feel a long letter coming on.

I am decluttering storage boxes today as i have an understairs units where i keep all of DS toys and have one for craft, paper, pens pencils paints etc and need to get them organised and sorted so we have less to move when the carpets are fitted.

I need to go to Ikea next week and am please to have some company Thanks Mummy of 5 xx

Ok off into the boxes i may be some time !!!!

I have been very busy researching....huge hugs & thanks to Triker the LDN looks really interesting & I am going to speak to my Doc.......how are you doing today sweetie? xx

Have also decided to go out to the States next month (while I still can ) I have a friend in Boston who is busy arranging an appointment, so that I can get a second opinion....at least then I will know I have tried everything.

DH has got lots of boxes out of the loft for me to sort through.....something I can do while sitting....so far I have filled 2 charity bags & got loads of stuff to go to the tip. My next task is to go through all the old photos, discard as appropriate & then make sure the others are all 'named' so that other people will know who they are in the future.....I know who all the relatives are...but the kids don't!!

FFP hope you have sorted things out for DS, you know where I am if you need me xx

Mudders hello....seem to keep missing you...lots of hugs xx

Rose not long now....but you will have to excuse all the boxes & not report back to the other flyladies !! xx

Welcome to the newbies & big hugs to all

    xx

Bnot flying so much this week I'm afraid. Water is off here :( Spent the past couple of days at parents' house from morn-eve so you would think there would then be less to tidy here. Sadly, not the case. Hope you are all managing the fly further than me this week :D

good grief...I cannot believe that they would be so petty...

I would have gone in early like you had I been dropping off etc...
By all means write and complain - there is no excuse for such rudeness nor for them to assume that just because you are jobseeking they can dictate all your time.

When I was unemployed (in between temporary jobs) I had a 'home visit' and I never did get to the bottom of why...I now think that they were checking up on me claiming as a single mum.

My bedroom is clean, all washing now out and drying nicely, ironing away -

    BEDROOM STAR PLEASE TOOTS

I am going to my favourite Indian restaurant with my girlfriends so fingers crossed we make it to the GF bar or somewhere equally sophisticated. It was my friends birthday Tuesday. I am not sure exactly who is coming but probably my friend who had the op will too. Last time we went out was pre-op and tears were shed :o

I too am cross...my telephone directory entry is in my exOHs name - I have left it as such because it makes me a bit harder to find IYSWIM but he has the same initial as DD. I have just had a letter addressed to exOH/DD but I was suspicious so I opened it.
A scam letter about an inheritance in China - HuaXia bank it's in...
apparently it's an e mail fraud too
But it's cleverly worded and at this stage the sender is not asking for money.
