Off to friends for :coffee: now.
TinkerbellsM great advice already offered... I think that when it's overwhelming lists are brilliant. List everything that you need to do, and then try to tackle one thing every day. The temptation is to feel that you need to do everything at once, and it's impossible, so you end up feeling down in the dumps about it. Babysteps is the way to go to approach every unmanageable task.
Well done on achieving the lists every day :T :T :T :T That's fantastic, but remember too that you're working every night, and working full time at home with your nippers. Not easy lovie! It sounds like you're doing really well.
One thing to consider... there's 4 of you??? is that right? Are you washing things too much? I catch my girls trying to discard clothes for the wash when they're not in the least dirty. DD3 will put stuff to be washed simply because she's tried it on! So I always check now!
Perhaps it could be your older child's job to bring the washing down every day, so that you can do a couple of loads each day???? Maybe? My DD1 has to do that. There's 5 of us, DD3 is a mucky pup, so she has to change everything everyday. I do 2-3 loads a day. Usually one in the morning, possibly one during the day, and then one while I'm doing dinner. I've also bought this washing sorter even though this has one divider down the middle, I sort washing into : whites, light colours, bright colours and darks, as it goes into the sorter, this makes it really easy to chuck in a load. Hope that makes sense??
Perhaps you could chuck stuff as you're packing too, be ruthless!good luck!

Not managed a huge amount as i've been busy, made a quiche this morning and will go make stroganoff in a minute or 2, after my coffee. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
Afternoon all,
We went to pick up the nursery forms and had a look around. It's huge there's loads of room for the children both in and outside. I left Ds2 there when i went to the office to fill in the forms and he didn't mind at all. In fact he didn't want to leave. They're going to ring me this afternoon to tell me when he can start.
I'm starting to feel really tired now so am having some proper coffee in the hope it'll perk me up a bit.

Hugs for you dusty, I know just where you are coming from, Miss A wants to add water polo into the mix here! I have spoken to Mum and Dad and they will help with the toing and froing so she can go. It's on a Friday (my work day) so there is no way I can do this without their help.

The Nursery have just phoned, Ds2 can start tomorrow. I've only just got used to being at home with him all the time again. I'm really enjoying our time together at the moment. It's only mornings though and he does need some interaction with children his own age.0

hello all - Ive had a quick catch up of the last few pages, but other than that, I dont reallly know whats been going on!
Hugs for Tinkerbells Mum - thats how I feel about my house too!
Im going to write a list for each room and concentrate on that room - dejunk and clean that and then move onto the next one!
I dont seem to ever be able to catch up with the lists, working, little one, dog, housework, homework, etc etc etc!!!
Im going to sort out daily basics and then concentrate on one room at a time! (hopefully.....!)Sometimes lurking, sometimes posting, but always flying
