So is my DS1 !! I think us parents worry about it more than the kids sometimes!! I even made his playgroup buy in lefthanded scissors when he was little and he didnt get along with them, or use them either!!

Im sure she will be fine... DS1 likes being "different" thinks he kinda special about it all sometimes, but he manages so well now, I actually forget he's a leftie sometimes!!!!

Thanks and don't think it is secifically(sp?) a leftie thing but her room is..... BAD!!!!!

Thanks all for the advice re- DD, I will worry no more (about the leftie thing......but should I shan't I about the shoes......suprisingly quite comfy too!!!!!)

ooh.. I just thought of a lefty problem.. when sat at a desk with 2 children mine have to sit on the left or they clash arms with the righty to the lefty of them.. they bump elbows lol.. and their arms get really tired because they are pushing the pencil over the paper rather than pulling away so it is hard to get more than a minimal aount of written work from them. Their work always looks like dying spiders rolled across the page because they crumple and smudge their work.. common lefty issue apparently... but made worse by DS2's dyslexia/dyspraxia etc and DS3's aspergers.

Yes.. buy the shoes!

Quillion excellent idea and we would except DD1's attitude has been horrible just lately, so we're thinking that she needs to earn a little bit of respect back by being a better human being.

Her expectations would be that we provide the car and pay for the insurance too.....she watches too much MTV!
