Next are really funny about codes so much so you can't post them on here.

;25260701 DD is left handed, have tried the left handed scissors and she cant cut with them....she can eat either way ( I am right hande but eat left handed......not good when I was a waitress!!!!!)........she seems to do everything else lefthanded (she is only nearly 7 so not triedEVERYTHING yet).....was just wondering if any of the left handed prducts out there are worth buying?????

My DS1 is left handed.. dont know WHERE that came from because no one else in the family is!!! He is 9 and has just adapted to the right handed world, as I guess most lefties do!!! I havent bought any left handed things, he has just managed and done a great job too!!!
Unless you have any grave concerns, or she is becoming distressed about anything, I would just leave her to get along.. its amazing how adaptable kids can be.

Im right handed so may be completely wrong and have lefties throwing things (cack-handedly:rotfl:) at me at any moment, but my lad is fine as he is without any special equipment

tooch.. 2 of mine are lefties too.. one is dyslexic just to confuse things.. neither has ever had trouble with the normal right-handed stuff.. unless an issue is highlighted I wouldn't worry.. by 7 she'll have mastered most stuff by now anyway I would think.. we had issues at about 3 with scissors and knives as the cutting edges were on the wrong side but they overcame it.. now they just have trouble keeping their room tidy!!

I've just loaded another load in the WM.

Need to hang some towels (newly washed) over the bannister, they'll be dry by tomorrow.

Also just decluttered the immediate are next to my bed and remove the 5 large stacks of books and moved them elsewhere in the room for sorting tomorrow. Trouble is all bookshelves are groaning.

Then placed a stack of wicker baskets (lidded rectangular) next to bed so I have a little table kind of.

Then dumped all my clean washing to OH side of room to sort tomorrow, he's away tonight so can't say anything.

My brother is lefthanded but is ambidextrous with everything, but the writing with the right hand looks like a spider wrote it.

  • Thanks Mrs B but she is def a leftie....a year or so ago she didn't like being different and tried being a rightie and it did't work. As a leftie, her writing is very good and she is very much a perfectionist in her work so will wait a year or 2 and see how she goes xx

    Quillion, hope this works.....

It's my daughter and I am completely flummoxed, she has a netbook, mobile and enough clothes and make-up to last forever.

  • Evening lovely ladies (havent seen any of the gents here recently)

Well I have been flying - both yesterday after work and today. I decided that I waste too much time so decided that as most htings take half an hour (well according to Hugh Grant in the at film about a boy) that I would divide my time into half hour slots and fit things in. I burnt myself out about 4 o clock and have felt like pap since so have spent the evening chilling out in front of the x factor and after that who knows what it was as I fell asleep.

    Please to announce though that
    • the bathroom has been scrubbed from top to bottom,
    • front living room is all done and the floor scrubbed,
    • hall and stairs are done,
    • as is all the washing (which is usually my Sunday task),
    • the meal plan has been done for next week
Dont have any definite plans for tomorrow although would like to take DD out but she is being such a little madam to me  nothing new there then so doesnt really deserve any treats, but it makes me feel so mean. Flying wise, could do the middle room, dining room and kitchen (again) DS room which just needs a hoover and dust plus the spare room.

Have found the answer to DD's room but she hates it (but it hasnt encouraged her to keep it tidy) - I got one of those massive skip bags and after nagging her for the whole of the holidays to tidy her room I lost it and chucked everything in there that was on her desk floor etc. Now when she says where is my ...... it's in the bag :D

Have flown through the last few pages of the thread and just wanted to say to fed up (who has already been given some super advice by the others) that you should treat a break up as the start of a new beginning not the end of what was your life. You will find there are many positive things in your new future, good luck with finding them.

Hugs to all those others not feeling so good, especially Triker.

Special wishes for toots and LadyL.

    crashing out for now

    Kaz

PS Party at piggers then :rotfl:
