Not looking to make any money just pay for cost and postage but if i have some wool right colour will use that for you have nice holly green and festive bright red but i have none of the beard wool that cost about £1/ £1.50 a ball and would need to know if its a grey or white beard to match others a pic would be great to get one the same hth

That is SO nice of you! I haven't had the chance to get on here for most of the week (I am preparing for 2 craft fairs next week so things are rather hectic) so I have only just seen your posts.

I am not sure how to upload a photo on to here but have just checked the photos from last year and they both have pure white beards. Both are wearing red outfits and hats but one has got white socks and gloves (I hope you know what I mean) and the other has got forest green socks and gloves.

A new elf wearing green with red or white socks and gloves would be nice to keep the theme going! I have no real rush for this as baby won't be here for this Christmas, it is just me panicking well in advance as normal!!

You can PM me if you need to know anything else and to let me know how much it will cost you. Please make sure you charge enough to cover all of your materials and time.

    Thank you once again

I did ask the lady if she had any smaller.. but no, and she said she couldn't make them smaller as there is so much detail

    Awww cute!

I really want to do this this year with my 4 children but am struggling to find an elf. I'm hoping I can pop to tesco at some point & get 1 of their dolls if not. I saw the idea last year but it was already halfway through december so I thought it was a bit late really.
Some of the ideas you have posted are fantastic. Love the snow angels. Can't wait to do it.

We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.

  • I've just found this and thought it was a lovely Idea ... maybe for those who had elves last year.. or just something so that your elf can come and go as they please!

these are half the photos of our elfs antics if any one wants a look for some ideas - (hope it works) http://www.facebook.com/#/album.php?page=1&aid=75382&id=680351978

Awww! Thanks so much for sharing these fabulous pictures. I am smitten by this idea but with my sons being almost 10 and every now and with one having woken up at a very inopportune moment last Christmas eve  I'm not sure whether they'd humour me or not.

One of them would probably want to believe it, so I might see what I can do.
