Here is my finished elf made from the Alan Dart Initial Imps pattern. He hasn't turned out too bad! I had stalled at the hat but finally got round to finishing it at the weekend, along with the two cuffs. My kind Mum sewed it together as I am useless when it comes to things like that...

That's great I'm planning on doing it this year for my 4 year old... got something I think will do if I can't get a proper elf... was £5 in Tesco

I have a DS and this is a little girl.... would be better if it was a boy elf though

  • I really would not worry about having a girl Elf for a boy i have 3 boys and i have always had a girl Elf.We had a dog eating Elf incident last year and we have had to buy a new one and have just brought the same one from Tesco (i think she is far cuter than any other boy Elf i have seen anywhere). My boys have no problem with it being a girl they just love the fact that the Elf has come to see them again.

Hi, I bought this doll as well afetr being unable to find a suitable elf - if the kids ask why she doesn't have pointed ears, I am just going to tell them that she has had to disguise them as she was coming to stay with us.

I have DS age 8, DD age 4 and DD age 3 and I think they will all love her as she is so cute - can't wait to get started now!!

I think she is lovely. I have searched the internet the whole evening loking for a Christmas Elf to buy for the kids. Found some gorgeous ones on Amazon but its the international site and they do not deliver to Uk (sob sob) Nipping off to Tesco tomorrow to search.

If anyone else knows where I can get elves PLEASE post on here. Thank You

I did ask the lady if she had any smaller.. but no, and she said she couldn't make them smaller as there is so much detail
