I have compiled all the photos from the elf's last visit in a photobook with captions.
(The kids have not seen the pics yet).

He will turn up with this when he arrives for this years visit.

For this years arrival my hubby wants to make a cardboard plane and put elf in it suspended from a tree. We will then make a noise outside and all go out to investigate only to find 'snowball' has crash landed!

Thanks everyone for the great ideas. DH is going to take him to work and get some snaps of him there so my boys will think hes been to daddys work. Reading a paper at his desk etc. Going to hang him from a kite as well and wait for a dry windy day and get a piccy of him hanging onto the kite. He can make a mountain on the floor with my boys books and maybe appear at my allotment. Keep the ideas coming!:j

I can't take the credit for these but there things i've got book marked from last year to use agian this year

there's stationary to use to send letters from santa http://www.familyshoppingbag.com/christmas_printables.htm and some others http://www.theholidayspot.com/christmas/stationary/

There's a elf name generator if you haven't already named your elf http://www.jokesunlimited.com/christmas_elf_name.php (I only found this later and had had a lot of wine when we decided on Peppermint Sparkle Ankles)

Lots and lots of ideas of things to do with uour elfs and also printable passports etc http://www.elf-magic.com/

The cadburys magic elves site which has lots of things to do I haven't had a good look this year so don't know if it's changed much http://www.cadburymagicalelves.com/grotto.html

Name a star for free (a present from your elf) http://www.freenameastar.com/

and the naughty or nice list look to see where your childs name is http://www.claus.com/naughtyornice/nn_hmpg2.php

there's always http://www.elfyourself.com/ to have a laugh with

and last year there was a great thing from Canada where you could get a personalised message from Santa in a video - but I can't get the link to work!!!!!

And you could always get a song with your kids name in http://www.maestrodusty.com/freestuff.html but it's very annoying (but fun) xxxx

(Thankyou to all the wonderfull posters from last year xxx)

    HTH and happy elfing xxx

Here is my finished elf made from the Alan Dart Initial Imps pattern. He hasn't turned out too bad! I had stalled at the hat but finally got round to finishing it at the weekend, along with the two cuffs. My kind Mum sewed it together as I am useless when it comes to things like that...
