It asks me to log in or create an account once I begin to checkout then just says it can't be shipped to my destination :(

Hi, I have just been playing around with this - there are 2 different versions of the elf - one is an 11" plush (13.95) and the other is an 11" plush hand puppet (10.95) - it is the HAND PUPPET that will allow shipping - there is an offer on the site for free delivery on orders over 25 US dollars, so I imagine that is why you cannot buy the other one - correct me if I'm wrong by all means those who have ordered successfully

    Hope this helps

  • We used a teddy last year

I scoured the charity shops last year for a suitable candidate and came away with a golden coloured floppy dog who was later christened 'Merry' - she had a tatty old bow on her which I replaced with Xmas ribbon.

Then I wrote Ben a letter from Mrs Claus (cant find it now!) but it basically said that Merry was a lovely little dog but she was being left out of all the Christmas activities because Santa and her were just far too busy to do things with her as Santa was preparing the reindeer, the elves were very busy and she was busy baking cookies etc to keep them all fed and to make sure all the toys got made. Then she had checked the good boy list and as his name was top she knew he would be a good boy to look after her puppy and that she had seen him doing lots of nice Christmas things and she thought Merry would like to do them too.

Then I left lots of little notes - some from Mrs Claus - some from Merry - with things she'd maybe like to do with Benjamin.

One had money in to get some decorations for the tree, others was to collect pine cones, one was to watch Santa feed the reindeer at the local country park because merry wanted to check in on them.

Need to start thinking of things he can do this year though.

Only problem is he needs a new Xmas friend this year because he got so upset when Merry 'left' that Mrs Claus had to let her stay for good because she was missing ben too! so I need a new teddy and name this year!
    Time to find me again

Ah, it was the 13.95 one I was trying to order. Maybe that's the problem.

    Thanks Janebo!

Sammykaye - you've got some good ideas there! Thanks!

    Another idea!

The Disney Store sell the 7 dwarfs.

They have a mini beany toy for £6.50. Says H22 W6 cm

    Or this one for £15.00. H36cm W14cm

They have all 7, I just picked these 2 at random! You could Christmas them up with some nice Christmas ribbon. They will probably have some Disney Christmas Toys nearer the time as well.

Alternatively, someone is selling them on E-Bay (used but never played with) for starting bid of 1.99 (and it's not me before anyone thinks I'm touting for business!!!).

I think someone else may have been bidding on the full set - now they've ended up with only 4! oops!

The cadbury's snowballs are delicious! yummy!
  • Just searched on Ebay and they have: Xmas Elf Outfit to fit Build a Bear/Bear Factory teddy for just 8.99 and free P&P.

Just a thought that you might be able to dress up one of the kids own teddies!
