  • Thought i would bump this up for those who are thinking about the Elf tradition and looking for things to do with them.

Also i have also ordered "The happy Elf" dvd for the day my Elf arrives on the 1st Dec for the Elf to give my children but you could also use as a film in the Xmas eve hampers or a stocking filler. It is only £2.98 at amazon or £2.99 at play.com delivered.

It looks really good and the packaging has a effect which looks like it is snowing on the front cover. Very sweet.

I bought two teddies from ebay for 99p and will be dressing them up as Christmas elves - complete with christmas hats, jackets and anything else I can find. All just glued on / together as I'm not known for patience!
Me, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx

March 1st week £80 includes a new dog bed though £63 was food etc for the week.
  • oh this is lovely i wish i had children at home still , hubby would think i had gone mad if i did it for us lol wishing you all a happy elf christmas and hope everyone enjoys themselves :)

can't wait for peppermint to return - my kids talk about him every day, I'm struggling to think of things we can do this year I don't want it to be too samey as last year. I'm also waiting for a reindeer to arrive who will be joining peppermint as my DD was sometimes left out if we had to take Peppermint somewhere so no doubt the reindeer will get up to mischief too.

Does anyone know where I could get a ready made up version of the Alan Dart elf, exactly like in JammyGal's post on page 1 of this thread? I would be willing to pay for costs/time/postage if there is anyone clever out there that could make one? I am very, very crafty but knitting is the one thing that I just can't master!

We already have two of these, purchased last year from an ebay seller that I can no longer find. Baby #3 is on the way now though and I am already panicking that next year we won't have 3 matching elves. Hormones!!!;)
