Haribo - that looks fantastic!! well done!!
Sorry I can't help anyone else with the passports as my OH left work early otherwise I would get him to do them for you at work!! unfortunatley he is in aberdeen (230 miles away) without a computer!! sorry
Cheekyprincess - thankyou for the list of your activities, I have told OH that he has to come up with some aswell, never thought about the paper chains, but have thought about making some snowflakes!! Still not managed to cover the book, or start making the bed! I can feel it will be a long night!Raising kids is like being held hostage by midget terrorists0 -
I used this one http://www.bbc.co.uk/shropshire/features/christmas/name_generator.shtml Put in Emily and our surname and it come up with my elfs name x
 That makes mine 'Frosty Horny', and I don't think that my husband would be able to resist the jokes!

I still need to customise my Santa-like elf and think of a name but I'll be busy preparing some 'challenges' this evening. I've already dug a bit of a hole for myself by telling my 9-y-os that we'd been specially as one of 100 families having an elf come to stay ahead of Christmas, which reports back to Santa. Lots of awkward questions about how he does that - and protests that they don't want any secret cameras or elves spying on them when they're changing for bed or in the bath.
Chez Scotrae I think we're going to say there will be maximum of 24 little gifts (Santa often gives my boys pencils, stickers etc) from Santa in each boy's stocking subject to (as-yet-unnamed-elf) approving of their behaviour or completed challenges on a daily basis.
Loving that passport from higher up the page mind you!0 -
Hi, If you want to email me the details you would like on your passport and a picture of your elf I'll happily change mine and email it back to you as a pdf you can just print off.
I am going to do my best to do this am d/l illustrator now see if i can do it.. if not I will be back grovelling for it to be done for me we still need a name she already knows Magikk Efled (her words) is coming might just stick to that cos the uk one generated surname as Horny something lol first name using different spellings was fuzzy or cutie :rotfl:I just didnt think it was a good idea to use it although her 18yr old brother thought it would be quite amusing0 -

so excited, have elves ready from mum- busy night for them tonight (they are going to change girls duvet covers for christmas ones- that should be interesting can we do it without waking them?! and decorate the front room, the girls will wake in the morning to christmas tunes playing- and the elves sitting in the fireplace with letter from Santa and letter from elves.)
Elves names are Sparky Tum-Tums and Batty Tum-Tums.(Family of 5: 2 adults & 3 children aged 7yrs, 4yrs, and 18months)0 -
Great passports girls!! I couldn't get the pdf password thing to work either so I had to do a bit of fiddling to create my passports in word so don't look as good as yours.
Oooh I can't wait for tomorrow. The children put up a little christmas tree in their bedroom tonight and Mary Mistletoe (Mary is the name of my dear grandmother so wanted to use her name) and Mervin Mischief are arriving in the morning in a box under the tree. The box will contain, Mary and Mervin, their passports, journals, beds and a letter from santa which has been rolled up and tied.
I have tried making a blog, its my 1st ever so its very basic and at the moment only contains a photo of Mary and Mervin.

Yes the girl is so cute isn't she, my dd specifically stated that she wanted a girl elf to come and stay so this doll was perfect, but my ds then said he wanted a boy, hence the hair cut and removed clothing lol! I think he looks ok, may make some trousers for him next year to make him more boyish! :rotfl:0
