  • Hello everyone.

Our Elf Otis is arriving tomorrow! I have got to finish his sleigh to arrive in today ( made from a cardboard box cut into the shape of a sleigh and decorated with tinsel and glitter etc!) He will bring my children their advent calendars too.

Otis has also got something planned for my children everyday after school. Some days its something like a Christmas film or playing board games others it is baking christmas cookies, cakes or sweets and the rest of the time it will be arts and crafts.

I am very excited myself and cannot wait! :rotfl:

I've decided to do the after school activities as well.. Spend hours last night getting everything written down and planned.. still need to fill in a few days for both the daytime and night time activities.

Can I ask what everyone is using for their elf journals? - Pictures would be good
Trying to make a better life.... If you need me you'll find me at the allotment.
  • Hi everyone, will anybody be blogging this year? I'm in the process of putting a page on my blog for our elf and have just set up a twitter for him (ElvinSnow if anybody wants to friend us)

He's going to arrive tomorrow I've wrapped him in a sleeping bag made from bubble wrap and christmas paper and the kids' first task is to make him a comfy bed. He's bringing advent calendars with him.

For his journal harib0uk I've just printed off some christmas paper and stuck it together in a flip book fashion (I can't post pics yet sorry)

Hi how did your OH edit it? I want to do something similar for mine and put our elf's photo on it but I can't edit it... have tried in acrobat, illustrator and photoshop and the pdf needs a password to access it.

Yours looks great and I would appreciate any help on how to get mine done.

I was thinking the same thing!!
  • You can download a free pdf password remover and then edit it in photoshop. I know I have had lots of PM's asking for info so thought I would just share it on here as I would be here all day trying to reply to all of them!!

Ahh ok ignore my last post lol!!

Give it a go it's really easy! I use a wordpress one but there are lots of others and most are pretty simple to use and they walk you through it once you sign up :D try blogger or wordpress
