BM (cheap - not impressed, may have to return & upgrade)
Stardrops
Microfibre cloths
Soda Crystals
Very impressed with those who are now growing their own. I'd try, but I know I'd make excuses not to maintain - hate gardening with a passion!some people grin and bear it, others smile and do it0 -
I am contemplating buying a slow cooker
Stardrops
More microfibre cloths at a decent price
Seeds - I have a greenhouse
Need to get well enough to use the cloths/stardrops - not been well and not cleaned for a couple of weeks
I have used my washing line more but I do live in Scotland!
I look for more reduced items and have shopped at Lidl/Aldi more
So I am using more of what I have and looking to save money a lot more - spent £100 less on food last month. An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:

Jailjouse Babe, I used to be one of those who hated gardening too, I left that to my XDH as he loved it, but when we got divorced and I was left with a 110 foot garden I had no choice. I did turn most of it over to grass the first year or so, now I have two large veggie patches, fruit bushes all down the fenceline and my greenhouse is about to go up tomorrow.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things
F U Fund currently at £2500 -

Already had a SC, used it mainly in the winter for stew but it has been used more now.
Bought an easiyo, which we love!
Looking at a BM but want to get the Pannasonic SD253 but will have to wait til August when I get my long service award from work, will ask for vouchers so I can put it towards one.
Now I have an oven (my old one was broke for about 18months) I have been baking things at least once or twice a week.
I also enjoy sharing ideas with people, by far for me one of my favourite things! It's nice to be nutty but's more important to be nice0 -

Soda crystals...for mixing with washing powder
Stardrops.....for cleaning bathroom,kitchen & floors
Chest freezer....to store all my batch cooking
Slow Cooker...to make all my stews/casseroles etc to freeze in my new freezer!
Bicarb....loads of it to mix with few drops of essential oil & use as carpet freshener
Lentils....to 'bulk' out meals (wud never have thought of using these!)
Food Processor....to chop all the veg into teeny-weeny bits so i can hide it in spag bols/shepherds pies etc so the kids can't see them!

I hate gardening too! Infact even touching compost makes me angry! It all seems such a pain, even worse than housework. Leaves everywhere, twigs, things growing at such a rate they take over, nightmare.Grocery Challenge £139/240 until 31/01

I prefer gardening - being in the fresh air makes me feel so much better than being in a sweaty house doing irritating housework. An average day in my life:hello: :mad: :coffee::coffee::coffee::T:rotfl: :rotfl:
