    take_note,
Thanks for your advice! I'm curious to know why you say that we should let our optician know if we intend to try or are buying daysoft lenses? What's the problem with daysoft? I have been wearing daysoft lenses and I'm curious to know the reasons for your recommendation?
    Thanks for your help.

thanks for that. I was just going thru all the suppliers that Martin put in his tip and the price is between 35-40gbp for 1 month supply.. I only wear contacts occasionally... good thing i did a search on the forum.... so i've jst ordered 1 month supply for less that half the price... will report to see if good or not.. i normally wear acuvue 1 day...

  • The man who invented daily disposables has started selling direct to the public, cutting out the middle man. The result is dailies at £12.99 per month, including acuvue equivalent. I've ordered a 3 month supply of B&L soflens one day equivalents for £38.98 delivered, instead of the cheapest £54 for branded (acuvue cheapest is £80ish for 3 months, but as far as I can see the equivalents are also £38.98). They give you a 4 day free trial with your order and if you aren't happy after using these, you can return for full refund as long as the tamper seals on the boxes are intact. Delivery is quick too, as mine arrived within 24 hours.

    Press article here.

Have a look at the website and see what you think. I thought it was worth a try and have been very satisfied with my own experience.

I must point out that this was highlighted by regvardy on the contact lenses discussion thread where he included an article from the FT online, but I thought it worthy of a separate mention here as it was a little hidden there. Mods - feel free to move as you see fit.

If memory serves me right, I'm sure you get the 4 free trial pairs for each month you buy, therefore 3 months purchase gets you 12 free pairs.

Anyone, feel free to correct me if this has changed, as I bought my contacts just before Christmas when they had an 1/2 price offer on...YES!! so I got 6 months for £39 ish!!
