Ah. Yes, I'd forgotten about things like that. We had a lot of muttering about Aragorn and "where's the amulet" and "dratted spiders", but that was it :) it was mostly my sis and me

Yay, KC had a lovely Chrimbo *cough* *cough* (I'm lurgified still too, you have my sympathies chum :) )
  • Glad you had a nice day, and enjoyed yourself in company. Love the bit about not conforming to stereotypes, its something I am struggling with at the moment, and something that nearly ruined Christmas for us. I wish I was stronger.

Looking forward to the new diary.

I'm back home now, and converted to the ethos of living my own life, not one dictated to me by the stereotypes of the day :D

Hi KC, I've not been around much since getting to Dublin, so sorry to hear you've got a new lurgy. Hope it didn't upset Christmas too much.

Love your quote about the stereotypes, it's something I'm trying to break away from a bit more. Just not sure how adventurous I'm going to be :D One of my plans for next year :D

    Hope you feel better soon.

Oh, our family Dr Who Christmas is going well, currently seen 3 series of Sylvestor McCoy, 1 Tom Baker, 1 Jon Pertwee, and 2 Peter Davison, more planned before the end of the visit. Also for variety watched Serenity again and a first watch of Avatar, definitely a Sci Fi binge :D

:rotfl:I confess I wasn't playing it myself - my niece wanted me to, but my lurgy is worse than hers, and I have the arthritis to boot - I just didn't fancy doing it, but it was a lot of fun watching - your OH sounds like he really likes it!

:kisses3: Thank you! Yep, I'm going to do what appeals to me, and find my company with the people that I meet along the way, not stick with the people I already know and do what they do "just because". Life is too short for that.

I think quite a few people have felt an echo in that: there's hope for us all, then :j

    Hope you feel better soon.

    Thank you

I lost interest when it got to Peter Davison, like I lost interest when it got to Matt Smith - too young for me, for that character.

But, oh,Serenity. Serenity. Malcolm Reynolds. Sighs of happiness....
