And such hard decisions too! I'll have another glass of that raspberry stuff, that was *nice*. I've been out to sainsbo - mad busy, but I felt okay - and since one of the setting-up-house jobs I did recently was putting the shower curtain up (I've had baths till now) - I had a shower! Ye gods it felt good!

I'm going to check out the date I bought that big quilt to downsize and provide a matching blind - I bought a single duvet cover, nice one, reduced in Sainsbo - not quite the quality of material, but no work required, which is important! If the big one is in date, I can get my money back, or at the very least, get an exchange note.

Off for a nibble now, and a bit of relaxing. I hope everyone is starting to get into relax mode, and has a pleasant evening.

Evening all, KC I saw the end of the Other Boleyn Girl and wish I'd watched it all - was very good.

Adding to the alcohol chat (:p) I've bought some ingredients for Mulled Wine today, so I might test that one out tomorrow night  hic!

Glad you liked what you saw, macgirl - lovely for us SF fans to see that Natalie Portman can actually act!

Mulled wine - I must've been put off it for life by some very nasty stuff I had as an older teenager at an Oxford Uni production of a Marlowe play ... is there a knack to doing it?

With mine, everyone's trying so hard to be nice to one another, no one was saying what they actually wanted - my mum and me broke through that, and everything else fell into place.

Same thing happening here, all tip toeing round each other. Because basically sister doesn't want to have Mum in hers but won't actually say it.

I must simply take care of myself when I'm getting well as much as I take care of myself when I'm ill, its very plain really.

You keep doing this to yourself, its taken a while to recover from that last lurgy.

I'm not doing anything outside the house today - this freedom has been hard-won, I'm going to make the most of it.

Popped by to see how it was all going. Your searching in various diaries worked. Thanks for the card!

I've never made it, so I'll let you know but I'm going off the method as recommended my a colleague: use a combination of recipes and add more brandy, sugar etc until it tastes right! :D
