There are some lovely honey beers about Dragon. I picked up a bottle of Spiced plum beer earlier on for christmas day (Dad, MrEH and I are trying to get some interesting bottles together to try!) so I'm looking forward to that. I seem to have a collection of wierd and wonderful drinks in the cupboard after some friends and I had a few cocktail nights a couple of years ago. Great fun, and means I have things like Cointreau, blue curacao and grenadine kicking about!

KC sorry to hear you're lurgy-laden again. There is so much about at the moment, MrEH and I have both been battling against colds again, he escaped the one I had a few weeks back but seems like this one is out to get him. I've just had that "about to get a cold" feeling again for a week but fingers crossed so far Vitamin C and echinacea appear to be warding it off.

This is the second night I've come on here to you all talking about the demon drink! Though honey beer sounds yummy - I need to try some of that :beer:

I had such a bad nights sleep with dogs, DS being sick and generally up and down that I would have felt better if I'd drunk the whole bottle of honey rum :eek:. So tonight when DS is deposited at nannys until tomorrow I think I will be partaking of a tot or two :beer:.

DH will no doubt be thinking its his lucky night when i will be thinking zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Its all talk and zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz, not much actual drinking going on - apart from tea. And I'm giving myself two cups of caffeinated coffee a day at the moment!

Dragon, the typepad link just goes to a sign in page, I'm afraid, and I don't have an account there - still sounds gorgeous tho.

Well, I'm very thoroughly lurgified ... achey night, but it is nice to loll about on the sofa, under a duvet at least. I'm still tidying - a lot of that consists of throwing things (tidily!) into the counselling room, oops, tho not all of it. Some of it consisted of getting all meds and supplements and first aid type stuff in one place - that might help with KEEPING ON TAKING THE BLASTED STUFF - excuse me shouting, I'm shouting at myself.

Did anyone else watch The Other Boleyn Girl last night? Must find out how much of that is true - I knew about the allegations about her and her brother, it was a really good film, made it all very plausible.

sorry to hear you're still full of lurgy

Do hope that you vanquish it soon. I too have been on the coffee for far too long - hence staying up until early hours . I weaned myself off it during my summer break from work, might try to to do the same again as it totally interferes with sleep patterns.

Will be in for a teeny tipple later, should it be Gordon or Bailey tonight ?
