Thats kind of what happened - except I did it in new-me version I did want to disappear under the duvet, but instead I rang my sister and she rescued me again so we had the three of us for Christmas at hers. So we had Lord of the Rings computer gaming, and for Christmas dinner I had the fantastic array of veg and tatties that my sister does, plus I cut up some vacuum packed chestnuts and mashed them into an organic wild cranberry sauce. It took about 2 minutes, and it was delicious!

I was worried about giving them the lurgy, but they've both got it already, so we all snuffled and coughed together :rotfl: and I've currently lost my voice.

I'm back home now, and converted to the ethos of living my own life, not one dictated to me by the stereotypes of the day

And I *will* be starting a diary on that in the next few days, because otherwise the thread will overload mse, and then where will we all be?
