She's serious about that thread!!! Most of the stuff I've got has been presents, so I can cross my heart and hope to die on that one, I'm good :)

Thankfully people have given up buying me stuff like that (normally I can't use it so it is just :mad::mad::mad::mad:)

Plumber finally went a little while ago - he worked really hard! Everything looks really gorgeous, very slimline, very neat - when the floor gets laid on Sunday, its going to be absolutely beautiful! And meanwhile I have:
    - cleaned 3 windows (still got 2 big venetian blinds and two other windows to clean but I'm getting there)
    - cut down part of the ash tree that needed to go (that was a bit dangerous, tbh, and also really hurt my shoulder, but so it goes) and that will instead become my Christmas tree.
    - almost sorted out pressies.
    - started on cards.

Woot to all this! We have another couple of pressie to order to be sent direct and that is us done as well :D

I'm so pleased with that! Disappointingly tho, my spiffy new phone didn't turn up, and I'm freezing cold - can't get my feet warm, so while I *will* use the lounge tonight, I'll have a hot water bottle on my feet :D

Bother to the phone not arriving and not getting warm!

Too much to do - so little *normal working hours*

    Hugs!

Laptop time over - catch you tomorrow (I've started a new regime - only allowed online at all by laptop battery time otherwise I'm sucked in and don't work enough - when my time is up - its up!)

The house sounds lovely KC - lol at the cistern on the sofa :D So nice to be able to relax and eradicate that low-level stress of things not being quite as they should be.

Take it easy with the tree chopping :o Hope the shoulder's not aching tomorrow :) x
  • Have a good day, hope you enjoy sitting on your sofa!

:hello: I'm well, thanks - wondering how you are, but I *knew* you must be incredibly busy.

Thats a really good idea about the laptop time - I've been sauntering about the diaries quite a bit, and this morning, my brain was whirring so I made a list of *everything* _pale_ _pale_ quite scary, so no more sauntering for me - I can't do it by laptop battery time, so I'll allow... till 8.45, I'm eating breakfast too during that time.

Thats a mad price for a hot water bottle! I'll have to phone about the phone :p Tuesday was the original delivery date, I should've realised they couldn't do it with the delay in confirming the order (computer problems, where have we heard that before?)

Its getting there, macgirl, it really is. And the cistern is now where it belongs :D though nothing else is - that will depend on the floor layer coming along and doing his stuff. And I'll lose the living room today - I'll have to completely empty the office so he *can* do his stuff, and it'll have to go in the living room, there's nowhere else.

My shoulder hurts all the time :( I'm afraid - thats the bit thats rheumatoid arthritis, not the normal wear and tear osteo. I'm working hard on changing things, but sometimes I just have to go ahead anyway.

The sofa was lovely! Tho I have to have flooring and draughtproofing in that room, my feet didn't get warm until I got that hottie going :rotfl: A fiver sounds better value - I like Dunelm, they're pretty good.

I've just realised with this list of mine - I don't think I have any time to do the work on that new duvet cover I bought to be cut down .... uh oh .... I might have to just pop to Wilkinsons in the next town and buy a single there .... in a few days time, anyway.

Sounds like the house will be fab once your flooring is down and stuff put back.
