Yep. Woss rong wiv dat? **KC juts her chin out, and looks like she's dislocated something**

    It was lovely!

Nothing is wrong with that, it's more the point of does a French instrumental sound different to an English instrumental?

Does a French Horn in an English instrumental have an accent?

DT, thats a lot of work too, wrapping - the number of presents was in the 40s, wasn't it  I've got a few bits to do, but as I said, I'm going to go to Sussex's best known health food store, and get little tiny hampers for everyone - some will get more :D cos I owe a few people big time for their support in RL.

Today - boringly, there's one section of accounts I *must* do if I'm to take them in on Monday, and I *want* to take them in on Monday. Plus into town again, a little circuit of charity shop - Julian Graves - library - Sainsbury - back home quickish :) I'd really like to do that thing with the slate today, gathering it up for re-use elsewhere in the garden. And when I'm waiting for the kettle to boil (which is a lot! I drink a lot of very weak tea :D) I'll be doing some shredding.

    That lot'll keep me going.

No snow here, can't decide whether thats :j or :(

I never know about that, but something very childish in me goes ":j:jIT'S SNOWING" before the adult goes ":( I've got to go out in that" :)

Hi KC I saw your posts on Hula's thread, and Hula & Souk's replies too. Another approach to clothes shopping here. For the capsule wardrobe idea the most difficult thing to find is clothes that really fit well. Even within a store, the sizings can be very different e.g. I've got 3 different pairs of the 'same size' M&S trousers, they are nowhere near the same fit. Hypno I think gets around this my trying things on in the store, and then buying the identical item online via quidco. I tend to use the discount outlets and TKMaxx mainly, so I can try them on but buy at reduced prices. Also try it on at home, straight away, it's amazing how clothes can look different in different lighting, also in some of the shops the tiny fitting rooms make it so you can't get a good idea of how the clothes look from a distance. I am returning clothes now, something I've never done before.

I have had some good bargain buys in the past from Ebay, one thing I found useful was when they give the actual measurements of the clothing, e.g for a blouse underarm seam to underarm seam, then you can compare it to clothes you have that fit. If they don't put it on the listing, you can always ask.

Hope you manage to find the clothes you like, at a price you like too :)

You could have some of mine. I reckon about 5-6 inches since yesterday tea-time...

It's very picture postcard out there.

se, thats brilliant - thank you! Some of those tips could save endless to-ing and froing, especially the underarm to underarm measurement - although I'm slim overall, I have wide shoulders, pretty square, so that m/m in particular is important to me - and the general principle is great too :j

But you have you chucked any snowballs around? Or built a snowman? Thats a lot of snow, Z, stay warm xxx

I've done the bit of the accounts I was intending to - and its only just gone 10am! I'm v pleased with myself :p I'm just going to alter my siggy on here, there's *two* French mortgage payments gone out since I last did it, oops - thats just over E1050 repaid, phew.

Edit - this is the last month my interest charge in France is over E100 - next month its E99.17 :D
