I thought one of them might be worth something - a 1977 LP of the Star Wars music (I was always this way :D) but its in French - La Guerre des Etoiles - so no :D

Wasn't the star wars music just instrumental anyway?

  • Oi wots rong with vinyl!

My son has loads of it, and regularly goes through my collection looking for stuff he can 'sample', he has pinched a fair bit over the years, especially my horrible 70's disco stuff.

Under my bed I have all my dad's stuff, big band mainly, and an awful lot of James Last and Bert Kaemfert, not sure DS would like them.

  • OK I am supposed to be completing a test for the census job but the website is down - typical when I have quiet time everybody in bed even OH who is not well and kept me awake last night so I was wrecked in my course today survived with the help of copious amounts of coffee.

I think ZTD meant what difference did it make if it was a french version if it was instrumental anyway :)

I hope you're having a little night-night after all that! Sounds like a very satisfying day :T

And I wish you'd mentioned that Stars Wars LP on here - I'd have chucked you 20 quid for that for DH, he'd have loved it. Good to get rid of the clutter though - well done :D
  • Well I have finished the tests glad that it was quiet as I had to concentrate probably would have been better to have waited until I was less tired but there is probably never going to be a good time and at least they are done. I am trying .................. very :)

Oh no! I probably did blather something about it, but it was before I was in regular touch with you :( Is it just Star Wars he likes, or any of the others?

Oh DT! Yes, at least its done. I'm sorry you're so tired - you've had such a lot on the go these last few weeks, on all levels - this is your w/end with Souk, I think? Maybe its next - anyway, whatever you're doing, don't drain yourself.

I really am shutting down the laptop now - I'll check everyone else's threads in the morning, I'm really tired. I keep ogling that shelf I've made fit tho :D I'm proud of that :D. Tomorrow - the slate chips. The day after - the world
