Bet you're glad you're paying for the full removal service now, or you'd be in serious **** now.

I said that very thing to my partner yesterday, you're right :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

The list is a weird mix - the plan is to *have* no last minute things. I won't write the whole thing down, but its things like, cleaning each room and the hall - they're all separate entries, not just "cleaning". Each patio is a separate entry (I have 3, about 4 - 5 feet wide, because the garden is so steep). Decluttering clothes and books and magazines again is 3 entries. I *have* to update my website for work - the email addy is out of date, and soon the phone and the address will be :o and thats kind of unacceptable :o

Anyway, I've done the hooks in the bathroom! I forgot that I'm taking the lightpull thing thats on the electric shower, its a silver-coloured sun, its lovely, I'm not losing that, so that will be done when I've gone shopping - but that won't take long compared to fiddling about with screwdrivers and finding screws like I just have. I've also started packing the "first box" - the one with paper plates, couple of tins of beans, that sort of thing.

And I'm going to reward myself with bbc iplayer - Have I Got News For You lives on :)

    Have a good rest-of-the-evening.

12 days to go and you are sounding so calm compared to when you actually started to put your house on the market - that holiday was just what you needed ;).

DH has his blood tests today so hope to know more Friday, but he has now gone down with major sickness bug  . I forsee a very long night ahead - hence I topped up on some magazines when I fetched some R Whites full sugar lemonade for him :shhh:

Thats true, isn't it - once the decision has been made, I suppose. I've left this house already in my head, I just pray nothing goes wrong with the sale.

Ooh, that doesn't sound good, sorry to hear that. My partner cancelled our meet yesterday, he's come down with gastric flu - maybe there's something going around :( antiseptic hand gel, thats another thing to buy today.

Today could be a funny old day. Couldn't sleep (didn't get any exercise yesterday, thats why) so I've been up for a couple of hours, and the phone engineer could call any time before midday. And I was supposed to be working on the phone today, so thats cancelled, and I have no paid work. So *if* the engineer comes, and *if* he fixes the phone, I have some urgent/regular phone calls that must be done at some stage.
    - conveyancer.
    - client calls from while it was out of order.
    - doctor
    - sister
    - mum.

And I've decided I really do want to get my hair cut before the weekend :o trimmed at least, so off into town I go:
    - hair cut
    - bank
    - charity shop
    - post Dell cartridges to Tesco.
    - buy lightpull.
    - buy one of those big tartan bags for transporting current bedding.
    - buy thanks cards - ooh, I have some notelets I can finally use. Not wonderful, but quite nice.

    That'll do for now.

EDIT - oh no it won't ... thats all for after the engineer's been. Okay, for now - write out the thanks cards, and start one of the to-do jobs - my choices for today are to pack boxes and take down the stuff I've blu taked to the inside of cupboard doors.
