Morning all. I did sleep well, thankfully, tho probably not quite long enough.

Today ... well, I have 4 hours paid work, afternoon and evening, but I've just done two to-do lists: one for today, and one for things that have to be done before I leave the house, and I've scared myself rigid  :rotfl:I thought I'd better do the house thing, because I kept thinking of "little" things - potting up plants, taking the one-off hooks down and replacing them (as agreed in the F&F list) its an absolute nightmare... nothing is a problem on its own, its just that there's so much of it! I'm really glad I've arranged to have professional packers, there's no way I could do all of that as well.

I did manage to use the free listings weekend on ebay, and get the auctions finishing at the right time this Sunday, thats something. And my amazon listings are back up.

So. The first thing today is to do online banking. See you all later
    xx

I meant to do the free listing and completely forgot.

Currys have an excellent sale on at the mo. My new F/Freezer is £430 down to £299 which is the warranty replacement sum, so very handy.

If you do a delivery date further ahead in the future its free too. so very MSE.

Ooh, thats a good tip, Pippajo, thank you - that would certainly be one less thing to think about.

Welcome back! Sounds like a great break, really pleased for you :)

Good luck with all the little bits and pieces, they are the things that add up and take time aren't they!

  • Karma be careful using the drinks fridge, they do keep drinks cool but definately do not keep butter/milk etc fresh...we tried! Its no where near cold enough for 'real' food.

:hello: Hiya! They really do add up, don't they, I'm pleased about those. They more than pay for my holiday expenses, as the cottage was free-to-me :o

Ah. Thats a good point. I was wanting it for a packet of feta, and keeping leftovers in till I can eat them later on the same day. Pippajo has been saying about buying from Currys and getting them to deliver later on - maybe that will be the thing to do, to order for the next day after my move.... I'll have a think about that, thanks KM.

They really do, don't they... today's list isn't doing at all badly, actually - I've got some paid work at 6.30, so I'll try and get some stuff onto freegle before then - and then whatever else I can do. Full report tomorrow (that'll make me keep at it :) )

I've bookmarked the soapnuts that were mentioned on your thread, Taxi - I don't dare stop to do stuff about it now
