I am trying to keep up!

I got a sample of Bodyshop in a magazine today for rainforst approved hair stuff, I had a look on the website and they do lots of deals and a discount card, but I do have memories of reports a few years back that they are not as earth/animal friendly as we think they should be. It is such a minefield

KC - hope you are having a rest now x

Yep, I was having a rest - I watched Tremors, on freeview, kitsch SF :)

Castor oil and olive oil then witchhazel sounds great, gill - I *know* I can get organic olive oil. I have used witchhazel before, but its very strong for my skin - maybe I could dilute it with filtered water? Not sure. At the moment, I'm still in the phase of using up what I've got, which is okay.

Busy busy busy - I've just saved 45 minutes by arranging to go to London from my medical centre - long story, but I have to pick up a letter (they refuse to post it to me ) so I'll leave for London from there rather than from my house. A pain, but there you go.

So, in London, I'm shopping, I'll take a book to read, but really I'll just close my eyes - got an all day thing tomorrow, then I'll be staying at my sister's to go to the memorial barbecue. Won't miss the scratches tho :rotfl:

    Forever MSE :money:

PS DH has passed on his bug to me and DS, but we have taken his meds he got the other day (I know they weren't prescribed to me but I've had them before). Lazy day in dressing gown, me thinks.

Oh no! Absolutely a lazy day, of course. Awful when it gets passed around, but almost inevitable.... hope you're not suffering too badly.

EDIT - Amazon payment, and the musicmagpie cheque - £17.90 to July's total.

Better than I would have been without the meds. Going back to bed in a mo, luckily DH has bounced back to better than he has been for months so he is in charge of everything, DS seems to be looking after himself, bundled in duvet on the sofa x

Morning... if you find witch hazel too strong, maybe try rosewater?

I have to admit the two things I struggle with getting natural products which work are cleanser (tried the oil method but my spotty face didn't like it) and deodorant, especially in this weather!

Hope you feel better soon Pippajo.

Have a good weekend Karma :)

I've tried a liquid version of it El, worked OK-ish in colder weather but no good in summer - I sweat a lot I think :o
