Hiya! Yep, its been wonderful. As I was leaving the house on Saturday morning for such a full weekend, I was thinking to myself, yep, this is what people do who don't have debt, they finish work for the weekend and then go away to barbecues and parties and whatnot. I've decided I like that life
First, tho, comes the pre-move preparation, as rtandon says, thanks for the positive vibes! I have my list, and I'm on it now - tho today is more about phone calls and completed ebay sales than anything else. Even so, the ebay sales are decluttering, cos they're a lot of big stuff!guess my mood, me and my hippy chick trousers?
Hypno, I found one for you

I've just spent **hours** working on changing postage amounts for ebay buyers - two people bought sets of things, one person is going to collect so wanted the postage taken off. All perfectly reasonable, except as soolin said, this is ebay, so forget logic. But I've done it! And in the process noticed that one of the set of micromachines I'm selling went for £2 more than I paid for it - the others went for half, so fair is fair, but still, it was interesting - there was a little bidding war, so the price went up and up.

Glad the memorial went well and the chance of lecturing sounds lovely.

Glad you enjoyed your weekend. That's one of the things I look forward to. Being able to just do 'stuff' without thinking about it. Agreeing to go somewhere without loads of juggling of accounts etc.

Hi Gill, thanks for that - won't it be lovely when all weekends are like that, instead of once in a blue moon?
And yep, you're right, it was supposed to be today to exchange on the house, but I didn't hear anythingI'll ring first thing tomorrow.
