Still crossed ... the office isn't open yet, of course :o

I've done my list - crossed off the first thing, which is scratches. Brekkie now, then some research about doctors, packing boxes, emails, blah blah blah. I really hope the contracts are exchanged today.

Nope. I've just spoken to my conveyancer, I'm in the middle of the chain, so to speak, so there's nothing he can take the initiative on :( I *have* just discovered a potential problem - I'm sure it won't kill the deal, well, I'm fairly sure - I've realised that I said the new conservatory the neighbours have built didn't come over the fence line - and the guttering doesn't, but most of the rake does :( I thought I'd better say, as you can get sued these days for not telling them things like that. Its been built since they came round, so they didn't see it. God I hope its okay.

Fingers crossed KC, although that would be the neighours problem not yours.

Lets hope the lecturing comes off, I have a feeling i may have found a future contact this morning too. Funny how you get a run of these things.

I spent most of my travels this morning dreaming of the day when MFW and DFW, and the kind of house I would like, having nice weekends etc etc. One day :o

Sadly, it would be me, as I would have misrepresented my house cos I said the conservatory didn't come above the wall, and it does.

I think I do want to do the lecturing, I think it would be a good career move, and I've done it about other jobs in the past. Hope yours works out too!

Nice weekends .... I'm *so* with you on that, sigh ..........

You're right! I'm really pleased - and I'm pleased I told them about the neighbour's conservatory, its not worrying me now  I phoned the builder too, and the Building Control bloke, and I'm full of ideas about the installation of the loo upstairs :)

Decluttering my Amazon sales now - magazines that will never sell, mostly. The recycling bin is going to get a bit of a work out :)

  • Great news and a relief to get to the 'signed' stage as its not an easy stage to get to without alot of hard work and focus. I hope you will treat yourself this evening somehow to celebrate..chocolate or wine or tv or ......?
