It is! I feel like I *should* be scared, but I'm not - thats what I was like just after I cracked my flying phobia - being scared is a habit, sometimes, when you've done the work that clears the fear away. Very strange, but very happy
Such a true statement. Just think if you hadn't taken that step of calling the estate agent you will still be stressing over the garden, location, money etc etc etc, instead you are planning a move and a fresh start with nice weekends.

How true that is  and you know, I've always been bad at putting enough into house maintenance, so even a comparatively easy house has always been an axe hanging over my head - no more! My surveyor used the phrase "rolling maintenance", and thats what I'm going to do from now on.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

What does 'rolling maintenance' mean?0

Sorry - I *think* it means regular upkeep - like, he says there's a slight problem in the loft, with not quite enough ventilation. Its not serious, and there's no structural problem, its just that the insulation was laid a bit too freely. But if it was left, it'd develop into a problem, so seeing to it now is easy, just takes a bit of time.
I'd also like to officially announce that I'm a self sabotaging idiot- I was really tired after the weekend, and hadn't really caught up yesterday, and what did I do last night? I stayed up till 1.30am playing computer games
:o:o probably because I was a little bit freaked by the move, but still, that was a really dumb thing to do.
Onwards and upwards. I've written out my list for today, just going to let my brekkie digest a little, then get on with it.2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
