Fay does that on her diary all the time :rotfl::D

    What's your garden like, El?

I've just had to hop off to the local library - I tried to renew my books online, but it didn't like the hangover of a 45p fine, and my local council want everyone to get their tickets checked, so it wouldn't do it. I'd be a bit narked if I got *another* fine cos of that - don't mind when its my fault, but if its theirs, huh! :p

I use a house saw to prune my branches - seriously!

Working too hard :o:o:o I have between an hour and an hour and a half's paid work. So this is my London plan:
    - go to the bank
    - get a spare house key cut
    - Sainsbury's for shopping - heavy stuff during the afternoon, go at about 8.30 for reductions, a la Fay's thread.
    - buy and post two birthday cards.
    - nick some free pens from Barclays.
    - check out pay as you go Oyster cards - how long is that payment valid for?
    - and I'm taking a book, some knitting, and some work :D

I'm up there for *hours*! :rotfl:

:rotfl: A girl's gotta do what a girl's gotta do. I do it very well too :D stride purposefully in, then look around, head to a counter, write something (nonsensical) in my cheque book - and I need a pen to do that, don't I :D

That's brilliant! I just 'acquire' mine from work :D

Yawn..... can't be bothered doing anything productive before 8am on a Saturday morning .... and I only managed 6 hours in bed, 1 of them awake, so I'm starting slowly today :p

This was my list for London yesterday. Not bad..........

    - buy and post two birthday cards. done
    - nick some free pens from Barclays. nope!

    - and I'm taking a book read, some knitting nope!, and some work done:D

Not bad at all! But we got held up on our upward journey, so I had half an hour less to play with - a big crash near the M25 - 5 cars and a coach :(:(:( but only one ambulance in all that lot, we had to drive past slowly and none of the vehicles involved had passenger compartments that were crunched, so I'm hoping no one was badly hurt.

Off for a play, I'll think about today later......... :)
