    Funny how this time of year gets every body (well, lots of peeps) sorting things out. Lots of new starts. I guess it is like the beginning of the school year, new pencil cases to the front and shiny shoes and unmended navy tights :D

    :hello::hello::hello: Hi all!

    El - you did your whole house in six weeks!!!! Thats fantastic!

    I wonder what it is about this time of year? Even for me (i.e. not having kids) there *is* something about the academic year - and the weather becomes energising again, not something either too hot to cope with or even something to be gloried in while it lasts :o

    :santa2: hello you domestic god, you! OTOH, since a man doesn't necessarily *like* being called a domestic god, hello :footie::footie::footie: you Leicester City football supporter, you!

    Today is fairly busy - a couple of fairly detailed emails to send off, and *four* sessions! Thats like the old days - then, of course, it was every day, and this is just the one day in the week, but still .... it feels good.

    Just got time for a canter around the diaries. Have a good one, all!

    Oh I didn't do it alone kc had a friend that lives by the moto if u ain't used it in six months out it goes .... It was painful she was ruthless but it was sooooo worth it ... I recmend getting someone in like her to help ... No emotional attatchments or sentiments involved just cold hearted realism .... It changed the way I view things ... Barely bought anything since without questioning it from every angle
  • Hi Karma, it's funny you say that about the academic year, I was just thinking this morning that the weather reminded me of going off to Uni for the first time, does make you feel like new starts etc. Hope it's a good day for you :)

    Slightly odd-shaped day today, which is why I haven't posted. Routine visit to doc (no, I don't have rheumatoid arthritis, and for the other problem try black cohosh from any good health food store); meeting at colleague's house - he made his usual jokes about inappropriate things, and I managed to stop myself walking out but objected *at the time* - hurray, thats quite a breakthrough. Got home - extra session needed to be done, so I had two sessions today, and in between times I've been on all sorts of sites all over the web - travel. Travel up to London, travel to Liverpool - taka helped! Its absolutely amazing the number of things I *didn't* know about this! I'm going to have to make a list, embarrassingly.
