Hi all! Just posting to say I'm not dead under a bus or anything - absolutely shattered is all, I had to end an email I was just writing because I'm so completely tired. But happy the frenetic activity of the past week is over! I'm going to catch up on myself tonight, some of tomorrow, then we'll see what the weekend brings.

Oven chips are in, quorn sausage are cooking (oops - slight delay while I ran to turn them in the pan) and frozen peas and spinach are sitting ready by the microwave. Banana and leftover vanilla custard from Waitrose for afters...... yummy.

Hope everyone is well - I'm just about to trawl some diaries, but nobody is to expect anything sensible!

    Lovely, isn't it KK!

I was up in HH again today, seeing a smaller house - it does need about £20k of work doing to it - everything down to the cracked coving! - but it feels such a manageable size. I found a lovely two bed detached bungalow on rightmove a couple of days ago, with a lot more work done, tho it still needed some updating, but its sold - still, the chain is 6 or 7 long, so I might be in with a chance. I had a viewing on mine this morning (*I* showed him round, no estate agent available ) I'm not sure if he wants it or not. On the whole, I think I'd rather live in a motorhome :D

At least your managing to stay pretty sane KC with all this housey stuff going on. As taxi says it'll all turn out good in the end, and worth all the effort and cleaning etc. Have a great weekend. Hugs

I'm sure it will be fine in the end. What's the worst that can happen? I'll have cleared and cleaned my house and garden, just like you say. To be sure, my clients know that I'm not settled here now, but really, thats not an actual problem.

What I *have* been thinking about, is that, with what I shall politely call the "drift" in my finances, I do need to be thinking about a secondary career (my fourth :D) rather than dfw bits. Some thinking is going on :money:
