Loving the thought of having to tidy every day just in case.....what a great motivator!

    Enjoy your relaxing day :D

Good job you put the green smiley on that! My *real* list for today is as follows:
    - throw old duvet away (its cut up and in old Asda bags, ready)
    - dress bed in 2nd bedroom - also has to be useable for my mum, tho, she's coming to stay next weekend, before she goes off to France with my sister.
    - finish changing my bed.
    - clean porch ventilator - thats been on my to-do list for about 5 days.....
    - clean the hearth - I use strips of newspaper to light the gas fire, so its a bit, um, ash-y - will have to go back to expensive long-bodied matches for a while, to cut down on this :D
    - bath and wash hair - this may not sound like a job, but after this and all the other stuff I've been doing, I'm **filthy** :D:D:D

Plus, I really, really need to take some time to write to a friend of mine - I'll have to do it on the laptop and print it, with all this physical work the arthritis in my fingers is driving me crazy.

And I haven't done my scratches and banking and comps yet  the universe will collapse around my ears if I don't do them :eek:

OFFICIAL P.S. Um, I just looked at that list before I posted it. Its nothing, is it, compared to what Hypno's doing today, if I actually concentrated again and just *did* this lot, it would take about half an hour :o:o I'm such a wimp :rotfl:

The problem with lists is that they are never ending - you get to the end of one, and immediately there is another to replace it!

I look around at houses where I live, and they are immaculate......gardens beautifully manicured, windows clean, etc etc. I wonder if their lives are just one long list, or whether they are just far better at doing things than I am :o

Thats a really good point, actually - those people with immaculate houses, when they were polishing their glass, we were doing other things. And I know their houses look all nice and manicured, but I don't think any of us on here actually want that kind of look - I don't get the sense that any of us is trying for "perfection" in that outward sense. Horrific as it is to say, some people are happy with life as a series of lists

Me - I vote for "other things" :j:j:j

:hello: Another day! I know this is really pathetic, to have done it on today of all days, but I have *finally* reached "payout" on pigsback - I've just ordered an Odeon cinema voucher. I can't tell you how many months of clicks its taken me to get that ticket! And now I'm never, ever going there again :)

I've given up on pigsback for the moment too.

Edit: Well had a look today after seeing your post. It's not too bad if you go there occasionally as the click thru's aren't as often, so a few to do if you've not been there for a while, also using the site occasionally for click thru's keeps any points balance active, otherwise inactive accounts lose all points after a while.
