Yep!
OTOH - I've finished printing out the mystery shops, and I'm trying to finish off my scratches, but butlins security certificate expired on 27/3, and they haven't updated it yet. Has anyone else done butlins today?

Thanks everyone! :kisses3: It wasn't too bad, tho I felt like I was going to be sick afterthey left
The HIPs guy and the EA were here at the same time, both measuring, so its lucky I went with the firm the EA recommended :rotfl:
He is a sweetie - he commented on how unconfident I am about the sale of this place, and said again that he'd be showing people around. He worked on the photos too - he had a really good camera, and kept adjusting the light levels till it looked good. I'd got up at 6, like I said I would, and after about half past I was tidying and cleaning the whole time - I stopped about a quarter of an hour before they were due to get here, I had to really.
Sat down with a cuppa tea then, and went off to do my mystery shop - only one, I was supposed to do another, but my camera wasn't working, so I've had to give that one up. Botheration, etc etc etc.
Went to Asda afterwards - more smartprice pesto, which I've realised has *lots* of garlic in, yummity yum, and staggered home again.
It doesn't feel like nearly 6pm! It feels like about 3, eventho I've been up for 12 hours :eek:2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -

I was two thirds of the way to another voucher when they took a nose-dive, and I refused to let them have the points I'd earnedNow, however, I'll take that Odeon voucher and be grateful

Thanks! First time around, they said an open day would do it, this area is so sought-after by families - now, I think its about keeping it ready to be seen by any prospective purchasers. My only competition within a mile on rightmove is also in need of huge decoration, with a lot of waffle about untested appliances, plus one thats been on since December but backs on to railway tracks. Here's hoping - the EA expects it to sell in 4-6 weeks
EDIT - I just found this receipt while I was clearing some papers: its from August 2000, in Niagara Falls: I paid $149 Canadian for a rail ticket from Niagara Falls to Chicago - always knew I was going to do that journey, and I never even tried to buy ahead, I just bought on the day, at the full single fare. Sigh .... I remember being a little freaked at *quite* how much it was, but it was no problem. Those were the days - ah well, they'll come again.
Even then, before 9/11, I got turfed off the train, along with all the other foreigners, by US immigration - always a bit dodgy, getting into the US!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
