I had a cancellation today. And yesterday I cancelled the meeting in the pub that would have given me the £60 - and, you know, I don't really care.

What I *do* care about (and am writing it in here to get it out of my system) is that I won't be able to go my Egyptology on Saturday - I'm going to this quiz thing with my sister, that she always used to go to with her husband, and the overlap of times is just too much. Plus, of course, my energy levels are so low. Thing is, I thought I was helping her - she's never done things on her own, and I thought it would be impossible for her to go without someone else, so I said yes. Turns out she went to one last weekend, aargh. Well, I just have to take it that I'm exploring new social arenas - might meet a solvent bloke, after all! Tunbridge Wells Golf Club! There's got to be *some* there, surely :D

You never know Karma ;) And I'm sure you are helping her, even if she has been on her own, I'm sure it will be easier/ happier with your company.

Thanks guys! It'll be okay, I'm sure, I just wanted to say it *somewhere*. I've had a pretty good day - did a lot of tidying up, taking stuff down to the recycling or the rubbish. I wanted to get the living room pretty much tidy and get whatever rubbish there was, out of there, and I have, so I'm pleased with that. And I sent off 4 letters - a card to an auntie, a French invoice, a freebie competition, and my signed accounts to my accountant.

But I'm pretty tired now, so I'm not going to be doing anything else. Hope everyone has a good evening.

    Thanks folks!

Okay, now from the sublime to the ridiculous.... this is a little construct by the woman in charge of Michael Shanks' official website... I'll tell you now, its based on the Swedish Broadcasting Corporation's reminder to pay the licence fee, thats all - but she added the picture, and the facility to do that is on the website itself.

Its *not* about Michael Shanks! Its about Daniel Jackson..... sigh .......
